Groves may need to drum up interest in the Froch fight single-handedly

groves676By Scott Gilfoid: George Groves (19-1, 15 KO’s) feels that IBF/WBA super middleweight champion Carl Froch (32-2, 23 KO’s) might not be up to the job to try and stay in there with him for a little back and forth banter during their press conferences and face to face meetings to drum up interest in their May 31st rematch at the Wembley Stadium in London, UK.

Groves thinks that the shove Froch gave him during their first photo shoot at Wembley and the fact that Froch wouldn’t stare him down properly during that meeting, it was a sign that Froch might not be interested in going the extra yard to get people interested in the fight like last time. As such, Groves thinks he might need to depend on promoter Eddie Hearn to help him get people interested in the fight.
