Chudinov ready to pulverize Buglioni

YouTube video

By Scott Gilfoid: #4 WBA Frank Buglioni (17-1-1, 13 KOs) will be running into a buzz saw tonight when he gets inside the ring to challenge for the WBA “regular” super middleweight title against a very powerful and dare I say talented Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs) in a 12 round bout at the SSE Wembley Arena in London, UK.

Chudinov isn’t the No.1 champion with the World Boxing Association. His title belt is below that of WBA Super World super middleweight champion Andre Ward. But never the less, Chudinov is still a very good fighter with a lot of punching power.

Fedor Chudinov ready to smash Frank Buglioni

chudinov6By Scott Gilfoid: WBA “regular” super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs) is ready to give #4 WBA Frank Buglioni (17-1-1, 13 KOs) a proper thrashing this Saturday night in their ’Man vs. Machine’ card at the Wembley Arena in London, UK. This will be the 28-year-old Chudinov’s first title defense of his WBA strap that he won last May with a close 12 round split decision win over Felix Sturm in Germany.

Chudinov will be facing Sturm again unfortunately after gets done taking care of business against the 26-year-old Buglioni. It seems that the World Boxing Association is going to be giving Sturm another chance at winning their WBA 168lb title.

I don’t see the outcome being any different no matter many times Chudinov and Sturm face each other. Chudinov just has too high of a work rate for aging fighter like the 36-year-old Sturm.

Buglioni has done pretty much nothing to deserve a title shot against Chudinov unless you consider losing to Sergey Khomitsky and getting a draw against Lee Markham as a way of earning a title shot.

Fedor Chudinov vs. Frank Buglioni next Saturday, September 26th

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGzV1m43umI

By Scott Gilfoid: Next Saturday night on September 26th, WBA “regular” super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs) will be defending his WBA title against what appears to be a badly over-matched #4 WBA Frank “Wise Guy” Buglioni (17-1-1, 13 KOs) at the Wembley Arena in London, UK. Buglioni, 26, has been talking a good game in the lead up to this fight, and appears to really think he’s got a chance of winning it against the 28-year-old Russian born Chudinov.

Chudinov says Buglioni is too easy to hit

chudinov6By Scott Gilfoid: WBA “regular” super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs) figures to make easy work of #4 WBA Frank Buglioni (17-1-1, 13 KOs) in their fight in 12 days from now on September 26th on BoxNation from the Wembley Arena in London, UK. Chudinov, 27, has seen some of the 26-year-old Buglioni’s fights like his recent 6th round knockout loss to Sergey Khomitsky last year in April 2014, and he believes he’s going to be too easy to hit and obviously very easy for him to knockout in this fight.

The hard hitting Chudinov is coming off of an impressive 12 round decision win over 36-year-old former middleweight world champion Felix Sturm last May in Sturm’s home country of Frankfurt, Germany. Chudinov had too much power and too high of a work rate for Sturm to handle in that fight.

Kameda: I think I won the fight

Image: Kameda: I think I won the fight(Photo credit: Lucas Noonan/Premier Boxing Champions) By Scott Gilfoid: #4 WBA Tomoki “El Mexicanito” Kameda (31-2, 19 KOs) is very unhappy with the scoring of his fight yesterday in losing a controversial 12 round unanimous decision to WBA World super bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell (27-2, 12 KOs) in their rematch at the American Bank Center, in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA. The three judges – Glenn Feldman, Jesse Reyes and Steve Weisfeld – gave the 29-year-old McDonnell the win by the scores of 115-112, 116-111 and 117-111.

The Premier Boxing Champions analysts saw Kameda as the winner despite the fact that he was knocked down in the 12th round, when he slipped on the canvas as he was getting hit. It was a very questionable knockdown, because Kameda clearly slipped when he was getting hit.

Buglioni looking past Chudinov, wants Groves & DeGale unification bouts

buglioniBy Scott Gilfoid: #13 WBA fringe contender Frank Buglioni (17-1-1, 13 KOs) hasn’t even fought for a world title yet against WBA “regular” super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs) yet, and already he’s looking past him towards dream fights against George Groves and IBF 168lb champion James DeGale.

What makes the dream so odd is it involves Groves needing to beat WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack in their fight on September 12th, so it’s kind of an involved dream that requires Groves to do his part by getting past Jack.

Fedor Chudinov vs. Frank Buglioni on September 26th in London, UK

buglioni566By Scott Gilfoid: #13 WBA fringe contender Frank Buglioni (17-1-1, 13 KOs) will be challenging WBA “regular” suoer middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs) on September 26th at the Wembley Arena in London, UK. This is the rescheduled fight after Chudinov suffered a broken nose during training.

Buglioni, who is very confident despite only possessing average skills, recently defeated little known 2nd tier fighter Fernando Castaneda by a 5th round knockout last Friday at the Wembley Arena. It was a mismatch straight up, yet Buglioni still didn’t look good in the fight.

Cox dropped Martinez with a powerful right to the body. The fight was then halted. Cox was punching with a lot of power and looked fast.
