Dana White: Mayweather is going to get kicked and elbowed by McGregor

mayweatherr63

By Allan Fox: UFC president Dana White says that he doubts the fight between UFC star Conor McGregor and boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. will ever take place between them. First of all, White says that the 28-year-old McGregor is under contract with him and his UFC organization.

Secondly, if Mayweather does want to fight McGregor, it would need to take place under MMA rules instead of boxing rules, which means that Mayweather would be dealing with being kicked and elbowed by McGregor in the fight. White says that would be for starters. He doesn’t say whether there would be grappling and submission holds allowed in the fight.

If that were the case, it would be impossible for the two fighters to face each other, considering it would take years for Mayweather to learn how to wrestle and use the submission holds that MMA fighters use in their contests. Mayweather is 39-years-old, and he doesn’t have years to learn how to wrestle, kick, and elbow like MMA fighters.

Dana White: Wladimir Klitschko should have been disqualified

wlad99By Scott Gilfoid: UFC promoter Dana White wasn’t impressed at all with what he saw from IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (61-3, 51 KO’s) from his win over WBA champion Alexander Povetkin (26-1, 18 KO’s) two weeks ago in Moscow, Russia. White thinks that Wladimir should have been disqualified in the final round of dull bout because he was holding and not trying to fight. White was totally disappointed in Wladimir’s performance.

White told the Telegraph “He [Wladimir] should have been disqualified. In the 12th round he didn’t even throw a punch. That’s the heavyweight champion of the world. It’s embarrassing…He doesn’t want to fight. He runs and grabs onto you. It’s disgusting. I can’t believe they found someone to pay him $17 million dollars.”

Dana White: Arum shouldn’t have matched Pacquiao against Marquez

pac92By Chris Williams: UFC president Dana White thinks that Top Rank promoter Bob Arum made a huge blunder by putting his #1 cash cow fighter Manny Pacquiao in with Juan Manuel Marquez for a fourth fight recently. White thinks that was a really bad, bad move by Arum because it was a risky fight.

White thinks the smart move should have been for Arum to put Pacquiao back in with Tim Bradley, so that Pacquiao could recapture his WBO welterweight title that he previously lost in a controversial decision last June.
