By Chris Williams: After his impressive performance last Saturday night in whipping John Molina (27-6, 22 KOs) on NBC in the Premier Boxing Champions card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Adrien Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) says that he spoke with superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr, who told him he was motivated by his performance against the hard hitting Molina.
Broner’s performance was one of the best of his career with the way he totally handcuffed the hard-hitting Molina with his defensive skills, and had him hitting air all night long.
Molina was so unnerved by the things Broner was doing in the ring that Molina almost completely stopped trying to throw punches after the first four rounds.
By DA: If you watched Premiere Boxing Champions on NBC last night from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, you’ll have noticed that former three division world champion Adrien Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) looked good fighting a totally shot looking and gun-shy John Molina in beating him by a one-sided 12 round unanimous decision. I already hear people claiming the fight may have been fixed or Molina took a dive etc etc.
By Dan Ambrose: If you had the chance to catch former three division world champion Adrien Broner’s post-fight interview last night after his victory over a very timid-looking John Molina (27-6, 22 KOs), you’ll have noticed that Broner blamed his 2013 defeat at the hands of Marcos Maidana on Broner fighting for the crowd.
By Dan Ambrose: Tonight’s going to be a big fight for WBA 147 pound champion Keith Thurman (24-0, 21 KOs) and Adrien Broner (29-1, 22 KOs), because both of them have q lot of pressure on them to perform in their fights at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
By Dan Ambrose: Former three division world champion Adrien Broner (29-1, 22 KOs) will be in the ring this Saturday night against lightweight slugger John Molina Jr (27-5, 22 KOs) in a 12 round bout on NBC as part of adviser Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champion series at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
By Dan Ambrose: WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman (24-0, 21 KOs) will be putting his unbeaten record on the line next Saturday night on March 7th in what could be the toughest fight of his career against former two division world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (32-2-1, 18 KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Guerrero-Thurman fight will be televised on the inaugural Premier Boxing Champions card on NBC.
