The list of opponents are down to the light hitting Coleman Barrett (13-1, 2 KO’s), unbeaten Cuban Mike Perez (16-0, 12 KO’s) and 39-year-old Audley Harrison (27-5, 20 KO’s).

Warren doesn’t blame Khan for not taking the Maidana rematch
By William Mackay: IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan’s former promoter Frank Warren says he doesn’t blame Khan for not opting to take a fan-friendly rematch with Marcos Maidana. Khan instead is eyeing the winner of the Lucas Matthysse vs. Erik Morales fight on September 17th for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) light welterweight title.

Sky hasn’t abandoned boxing, as they’ll continue to show boxing on regular Sky Sports channel.

By William Mackay: If you’ve been reading some of WBA Super World light welterweight champion Amir Khan’s juicy quotes, you’ll have noticed that he likes to say this: “There’s not much I can do apart from beating the person they put in front of me.” In using the word “They”, Khan presumably is speaking about his promoters from Golden Boy Promotions.
