Deontay Wilder: I’m giving America it’s next heavyweight world champion
By Scott Gilfoid: The huge 6’7” Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs) is convinced that he’ll be adding another scalp to his resume next month when he faces WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs) for his WBC strap on January 17th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is a big, big fight for Deontay and for many Americans, because he has the chance of capturing the WBC heavyweight title and bringing it back to the U.S. It would be the first American world champion since Shannon Briggs accomplished that fete back in 2006.

Deontay Wilder predicts 2nd round KO over Bermane Stiverne on 1/17
By Scott Gilfoid: #1 WBC Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs) sees himself racking up his 33rd consecutive knockout next month when he challenges for the WBC heavyweight title against 36-year-old Bermane Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Deontay believes he’ll get to Stiverne’s chin early in the fight perhaps as early as the 2nd round. At worst, Deontay thinks the fight can last as long as four rounds, but that’s as far as he sees Stiverne being able to go before he knocks him out.
The year that was for Tyson Fury
By Matt H: The stoppage defeat of Derek Chisora meant that Tyson Fury ends the year as British Heavyweight Champion, European Heavyweight Champion and more importantly mandatory challenger for Wladimir Klitschko’s WBO World Title.
Fury ended the year in a good place, unexpectedly since the year started in annoying fashion, with another cancellation against David Haye. This had an affect on Fury threatening retirement and he clearly showed his frustration in a number of interviews.

Nelson thinks Fury can beat Wilder and Stiverne
By Scott Gilfoid: Sky Sports commentator Johnny Nelson believes that #4 WBO Tyson Fury (23-0, 17 KOs) has the talent to beat WBC champion Bermane Stiverne and unbeaten knockout artist Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs).
Nelson doesn’t, however, think that the 6’9” Fury can beat IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, who Fury will be facing at some point in 2015. Nelson still believes that the 6’6” Wladimir has too much talent for Fury to deal with at this point.
