Dominic Breazeale vs. Amir Mansour tonight

Los Angeles, California (January 23, 2016) – In order for boxers to succeed in the sweet science, it takes multiple factors such as skill, strength and mental toughness. Boxers put their bodies to the limit in training camp for multiple weeks leading up until the week they fight. Then, at a last minute’s notice their fight can be cancelled.

This was the situation with top U.S. heavyweight prospect Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale. Breazeale was scheduled to fight Charles Martin on December 12, 2015 and three days before their scheduled bout, the fight was called off. Breazeale was left with no opponent and after taking a week off, went back to training through the holidays in hopes of fighting soon thereafter.

Gerald Washington – Amir Mansour ends in draw – live results

By Tim Fletcher: In a controversial decision, heavyweights Amir Mansour (22-1-1, 16 KOs) and Gerald Washington (16-0-1, 11 KOs) ended in a 10 round draw on Tuesday night on Premier Boxing Champions on Fox Sports 1 from the Little Creek Casino Resort, in Shelton, Washington.

The final judges’ scores were 97-93 for Washington, 96-94 for Mansour, and 95-95.

Judge Adalaide Byrd was the one that scored the fight 97-93 for Washington. It’s unclear what fight she was watching because it was pretty obvious that Washington was totally gassed out after the 4th, and wasn’t actually trying to win the fight.
