By Eric Thomas: Believe it or not, Vitali Klitschko (36-2, 35 KOs) still is longing for a bout with former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis in the future. After now almost six years since Vitali was stopped in the 6th round by Lewis in 2003, Klitschko is still seeking revenge against him. In a recent interview, Vitali had this to say about Lewis: “With Lewis, as usually happens, there is bargaining. One side, in this case Lewis, asks for the maximum amount but we referred to the minimum. Ideally, we’d find a compromise somewhere in the middle.”

Can Haye Withstand a Solid Shot by Vitali?
By Jim Dower: More and more I think about the David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) vs. Vitali Klitschko (36-2, 35 KOs) fight, I can’t see Haye coming out the victor in this one. Haye’s problems are many, starting with his weak chin. That alone is too much for him to beat someone as powerful as Vitali, 37, but when you factor in Haye’s poor stamina, limited size and tendency to stress out when attacked hard, it comes out to Vitali winning by a slaughter.
Tyson – The Heavyweight Division Needs Someone Like Him
By Dan Ambrose: It’s been over three years since former IBF/WBA/WBC heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) has last fought, but yet there’s been no heavyweight that has come close to matching Tyson’s huge appeal and domination since that time. In his prime, Tyson was unbeatable, stopping excellent fighters like Razor Ruddock, Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes, Andrew Golota, Frank Bruno and many more. When he was in shape and focused, in particular earlier in his career, Tyson may have been the best heavyweight that every lived.
Prediction: David Haye vs. Vitali Klitschko
By Jim Slattengren: With the potential fight with Vitali Klitschko (36-2, 35 KOs) and (22-1, 21 KOs) looming ahead in 2009, as of now possibly to take place in June, in London, I thought I would chime in on this fight. Both Vitali and Haye have knocked out the vast majority of their opponents with only one of their victories not ending in knockout. Both of their knockout percentages are greater than 90%, meaning that this fight likely won’t be going to distance one way or another. However, Haye, 28, has little experience against top level heavyweights, up to now only beating Monte Barrett and Tomasz Bosnin.
Haye vs. Vitali – A Fight Guaranteed To Disappoint
By Sean McDaniel: Though the fight between former cruiserweight champion David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) is months away, if not more, a lot of interest is already generating about his upcoming June 2009 bout with Vitali Klitschko (36-2, 35 KOs) which will likely take place in a football stadium in London. However, as much as this fight might be interesting on the service level, I see it pretty much as likely route with Vitali taking it on himself to end matters quick against the 28-year-old Haye.
Is Haye Ready For The Klitschko Brothers?
By Jim Dower: Far and away one of my most favorite fighters in boxing, heavyweight David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) is about to step it up against the better class in the heavyweight division in 2009, and we’ll finally find out if he has the tools to succeed in the division. Having jumped ahead of many other more deserving fighters that have scraped and fought their way to the top of the heavyweight division, Haye is going to be given a shot against Vitali Klitschko or possibly Vitali’s brother Wladimir, if somehow the WBC prevents Vitali from sidestepping around his number #1 mandatory challenger Juan Carlos Gomez.
Gomez Reluctant To Step Aside For Haye-Vitali Bout
By Matt Stein: It seems as if World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (36-2, 35 KOs) is going to either have to fight Juan Carlos Gomez (44-1, 35 KOs), his number #1 mandatory challenger, or vacate the title in order to fight David Haye. Gomez, 35, is determined to fight Vitali next, based on news reports around the boxing world. Gomez, apparently, isn’t interested in stepping aside, and waiting for Haye to face Vitali first, and wants his bout to be next. Gomez had this to say to Haye pertaining to Vitali: “David, I got one advice for you – Keep your hands off Vitali. He’s mine.”

Can Lewis Help Haye Defeat Vitali?
Photo by Pavel “Eagle eye” Terehov – By Chris Williams: Heavyweight David Haye has recently had what could be an asset for him with former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis (41-2-1, 32 KOs) volunteering to join his team as an adviser and sparring partner for Haye’s 2009 fight with World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Who better to help with figuring out Vitali then the 43-year-old Lewis, the last fighter to hand Vitali a loss, beating him by a sixth round stoppage in 2003.
