Lewis: Fury can’t handle Klitschko

wladimir433333By Scott Gilfoid: Former world champion Lennox Lewis doesn’t think Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) has the chin, punching power, or the experience to defeat IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 Kos) in their fight this Saturday night at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. Lewis is concerned that Fury was dropped by a cruiserweight in Steve Cunningham in the past.

He feels that if a small former cruiserweight like Cunningham was able to put Fury on the canvas, then that is a problem that Fury is going to have in trying to fight at the upper level of the heavyweight division.

Klitschko expects Mayweather to come out of retirement

floyd56By Dan Ambrose: Heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko says he believes unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs) isn’t finished for good with his pro career despite him having officially retired following his victory over Andre Berto last September in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 39-year-old Klitschko expects Mayweather to come back for at least one more fight so that he can break the late Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 record by hitting No.50 before he walks away for good. Wladimir just has a feeling that Mayweather will want to come back to get that 50th win.

Peter Fury “If Tyson Does as planned- we could have new heavyweight champion of the world”

YouTube video
by Ingram Jones: As the Legendary Singer Michael Jackson said “This is it” Indeed it is for Tyson Fury, the moment of truth. Is he really going to back up all his big talk? Is this man mountain really going to shock the world or is it just another routine defence for Klitschko as many pundits as predicting the demise of Tyson Fury.

Many would like to see Tyson lose simply because he has chosen to be vocal. It’s a funny business this boxing. Tyson is abused by many because he has decided to speak on subjects inside the world of boxing and on other matters. If you havent already gathered, Tyson is his own man and will do it his own way. Without the need of a PR machine, Tyson has single handedly promoted himself telling anybody who would listen that he would become the “Heavyweight Champion Of The World” & in one interview claimed he was “The Greatest Heavyweight in this era!”

Hughie Fury: Wladimir is padding his shoes to make himself look taller

hughie45By Scott Gilfoid: Hughie Fury claims that the talented IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) has resorted to stuffing his shoes in order to make himself as tall as the supposedly 6’9” Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs). The two heavyweights stood eye to eye during Friday’s weigh-in during the stare down between them.

There had been rumors floating around forever that Fury wasn’t anywhere close to the 6’9” listing for him, but today was kind of a burst of reality when Fury was no taller than the 6’6” Klitschko. What’s interesting is that the 6’6” Hughie went so far as to say that Wladimir isn’t even as tall as him.

Wladimir: Fury has become nice and polite

wladimir5555By Scott Gilfoid: With there now being only one day before their mega-fight in Dusseldorf, Germany, IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) has noticed how nice Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) has suddenly become now that they’re close to the fight.

At today’s weigh-in, Fury was as meek as a lamb, barely talking at all, and looking unsure of himself during the long minute and a half stare down after the weigh-in. What also was interesting is how Wladimir and Fury appeared to be the exact same height, which makes you wonder whether the claims of Fury being 6’9” all this time was pumped up stats invented to make him sound more menacing than he actually is.

Tyson Fury weighs 247, still looks flabby though

fury4533By Scott Gilfoid: I commend Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) burning off a lot of lard during his training camp for his fight against IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) on Saturday night. However, I hate to say it but Fury still looks flabby around the midsection despite coming in at 247lbs during his weigh-in today.

Officially, Fury weighed in at 246.4lbs, but you round that off to 247. In looking at that stubborn flab around Fury’s belly area, I have to say he didn’t take off enough lard from during the camp. When you see saddlebags like the ones Fury has around his sides, it tells you that he didn’t work hard enough to take that blubber off.

Joshua expects Wladimir to beat Fury

wladimir4By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten British heavyweight Anthony Joshua sees IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) turning back the threat of Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) in their fight this Saturday night. Joshua predicts that Wladimir’s class will be too much for Fury in this fight. However, Joshua still thinks it’ll be a close fight, which runs counter to what a lot of people believe.

“The fight will be action packed right from round one,” Joshua said to skysports.com. “I think Fury will come out with nothing to lose.”
