Caballero had this to say about Lopez: “Juanma Lopez can keep running from me, but I’m not going to stop chasing him.”

Is Wladimir Klitschko Unbeatable?
By Matt Stein: Last weekend, IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Kitschko (53-3, 48 KO’s) easily defeated yet another challenger in Ruslan Chagaev by a 9th round knockout in front of a huge 60,000 boxing fans at the Veltins Arena, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The ease with which Wladimir dispatched Chagaev was more than a little impressive, because Wladimir dominated every facet of the fight without getting nary a scratch from the 30-year-old Chagaev, who before this fight was considered number #3 in the world.
Chagaev Looked Good Enough to Beat Haye
By Chris Williams: While Ruslan Chagaev (25-1-1, 17 KOs) may not have landed too many punches on Saturday night against Wladimir Klitschko, I saw enough of Chagaev to get the impression that he looked more than good enough to beat British heavyweight David Haye. Chagaev showed a great chin, an excellent ability to block punches against the towering 6’7″ Klitschko.

This was supposed to be a fight where Wladimir (53-3, 47 KO’s) was looking to come out with more offense to impress his critics and the American cable company HBO, who decided they didn’t want to waste money showing the Chagaev-Wladimir bout.

(Also something his detractors would suggest often carried over with him into the ring.) We also learned that although Germans can fill a stadium (the sellout crowd was the biggest boxing audience in the country since Max Schmeling fought Adolf Heuserin in 1939) they apparently have trouble with amplification as parts of Klitschko’s national anthem cut out during its playing.

Now, I really like the technical boxing skills and the size advantage that the big 6’6” Klitschko possesses in this fight, but I foresee an upset in this fight with Chagaev, 30, scoring a knockout.

The Ukrainian Wladimir came in at a slender 240 pounds. Chagaev, 30, weighed in at 225 pounds, a weight that is normal for him.

On the bright side this fight should easily live up to the hype when you consider that there was almost no hype going into this fight. If this fight was an earthquake in North America it would barely move your mother’s fine china in the dining room.
