By Jason Kim: After 10 months out of the ring including two cancellations of bouts against Paul Williams, WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (35-1, 31 KO’s) is reportedly ready to get back to action with a fight against number #3 ranked World Boxing Council middleweight contender Miguel Angel Espino (20-2-1, 9 KO’s) on December 19th at the Beeghly Center, in Youngstown, Ohio.

By Manuel Perez: Middleweight contender Miguel Angel Espino (20-2-1, 9 KOs) stopped Alejandro Garcia (26-5-1, 24 KOs)in the 6th round of a scheduled 10-round bout on Saturday night at the Playboy Mansion, in Beverly Hills, California. Espino, 29, dropped Garcia in both the 4th and 5th rounds with hard left hooks to the head. In between the 5th and 6th rounds, Garcia opted not to come out of the 6th round and the fight was stopped at 3:00 of the 6th by referee Jack Reiss.
