By William Mackay: Now that Joe Calzaghe has bowed out of boxing, it leaves IBF light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (27-0, 17 KOs) alone at the top of the light heavyweight division. Although he’s currently sharing the top spot with fellow champions Adrian Diaconu, Zsolt Erdei and Hugo Garay, it’s safe to say that Dawson would easily beat the whole bunch if the fight were to take place on neutral territory and not on Romania, Germany or Argentina.

Who’s Next For Dawson After He Beats Tarver?
By Chris Williams: Unfortunately for International Boxing Federation (IBF) light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (27-0, 17 KOs), he has to face Antonio Tarver again, this time on March 14th in a rematch that few people want to see. However, once Dawson, 26, destroys Tarver for the second time, it’s time to look forward into the future for other potential fights for Dawson, who is considered to be the best fighter in the light heavyweight division at this time.
If Calzaghe’s Girl Friend Wants Him To Quit, Maybe He Should
By Nate Anderson: Apparently Joe Calzaghe’s girl friend wants him to get out of boxing and retire from the sport. According to Walesonline.co.uk, Calzaghe’s girl friend wanted him to retire after his fight with Roy Jones Jr. November. However, Calzaghe seems frozen at this point, unable to make a decision whether to stay or go into retirement. The latest word is that he wants to fight one more time possibly against Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright or Chad Dawson, but it’s still unknown whether he’ll actually fight any of them. If Calzaghe is serious about retiring soon, these fights would be a tough bout to go out on because Calzaghe would need to be there mentally 100% to win.

Will Calzaghe Fight Another Old Timer?
By Michael Lieberman: With two victories in a row over the old timers of the middleweight division, Joe Calzaghe (46-0, 32 KOs) is debating whether to continue on with his boxing career or not. Whether he does or doesn’t, I sure hope he chooses someone below 39 for his next fight because it’s hardly interesting to see him fight another fighter on or near his 4th decade on this planet.
