Dirrell-Abraham: Andre needs to fight more positive this time
By Peter Wells: Andre Dirrell the young American finds himself against an even tougher challenge than his first fight in the Super Six. After narrowly losing to British World Boxing Council Super Middleweight champion Carl Froch, he now fights also unbeaten Armenian-German Arthur Abraham. Dirrell needs to fight much more positively this time around despite being in the US; although the American’s don’t always go for their own fighters.
Dirrell vs. Abraham postponed?
By Scott Gilfoid: According to an article from the news site Mlive, the Super Six tournament bout between talented American Andre Dirrell (18-1, 13 KO’s) and German based Arthur Abraham has been postponed due to Abraham suffering a bad case of the flu, causing the fight to be put off until March 7th. If this turns out to be the case, it will be disappointing news for fans of Dirrell and Abraham.
Abraham vs. Dirrell: Andre should beat Arthur
By Dennis Broadhurst: When the talented yet inexperienced Andre Dirrell faces Arthur Abraham I believe that he should beat him. In his first fight of the Super Six tournament. Dirrell lost a decision to solid Englishman Carl Froch on October 17th. In that fight it looked like Dirrell was scared of the powerful Froch and was certainly fighting on nervous energy. The fight proved to him that you cannot take a champion’s title by dancing around the ring all night, especially in their home town.
America – Dirrell, Taylor & Ward – will win the Super Six tournament

Not only will we have the ultimate winner with either Andre Ward or Andre Dirrell taking the honors, but our fighters will score higher than the other European fighters in the Super Six tourney. Ward’s shellacking last Saturday night of Mikkel Kessler, the tournament’s number #1 seed, for all practical purposes put a seal on the win for the Americans.
