graf4534By Erik Schmidt: In one of the worst decisions I’ve seen in quite some time, WIBF Women’s International Boxing Federation and Global Boxing Union Female super flyweight champion Alesia Graf (24-1, 9 KO’s) defeated American Terri Lynn Cruz (17-6-2, 8 KO’s) by a 10-round split decision on Saturday night at the Color Line Arena, in Hamburg, Germany. The final judges’ scores were 95-94, 96-93 for Graf, and 95-94 for Cruz.

Dimitrenko to Fight Chambers on July 4th in World Boxing Organization title Eliminator

dimitrenko43446By Erik Schmidt: Unbeaten heavyweight contender Alexander Dimitrenko will have to earn a shot at the winner of WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye by facing heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers in a WBO title eliminator bout on July 4th at the Color Line Arena, Altona, in Hamburg, Germany. Dimitrenko, 26, is currently ranked at #1 in the WBO. Dimitrenko recently defeated Luan Krasniqi in a 3rd round stoppage in November.

Image: Graf Defeats DahlenBy Erik Schmidt: WIBF Women’s International Boxing Federation and Global Boxing Union Female super flyweight champion Alesia Graf (22-1, 9 KOs) defeated Magdalena Dahlen (9-1, 3 KOs) by a 10-round unanimous decision in a fight that turned out to be much tougher than expected on Saturday night at the Stadthalle, Rostock, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The final judges’ scores were 99-91, 97-94 and 97-93.
