Fans Predict ‘0-7’ After Anthony Joshua Names Heavyweight Targets

Joshua named Tyson Fury, Daniel Dubois, Fabio Wardley, Agit Kabayel, Moses Itauma and Deontay Wilder as future options, but many fans questioned whether he can beat them

Anthony Joshua’s latest comments about potential fights against Tyson Fury, Daniel Dubois, Fabio Wardley, Agit Kabayel, Moses Itauma and Deontay Wilder sparked a wave of skepticism from fans. Many questioned whether the former heavyweight champion can still defeat the division’s leading contenders after recent setbacks.

“There’s rematch with Dubois, there’s a potential Fabio fight, there’s Agit fight out there,” Joshua said on the Mr. Versace podcast. “Providing he becomes champion, like how big that would be. There’s an Itauma fight as he’s coming up the rankings. There’s still the Wilder fight out there. These are going to be massive fights. So Fury is just another number.”

“He ain’t above no one. They’re all in my way. All on the same level. I’m not putting him above no one.”

The comments sparked a wave of reaction from fans, with one commenter suggesting Joshua could finish “0-7” if his July 25 fight against Kristian Prenga is included alongside the opponents he named.

The remark stood out because it reflected a wider theme running through the replies.

“Got to get past next fight first,” one fan wrote.

“AJ is done,” posted another.

“Itauma would humiliate AJ,” predicted a third commenter.

“Man just talks s***, stfu and let’s see it then,” wrote another fan.

Others questioned why Joshua was already discussing Fury, Daniel Dubois, Fabio Wardley, Agit Kabayel, Moses Itauma, and Deontay Wilder before getting through Prenga.

The reaction highlights how sharply opinion has changed around the former two-time heavyweight champion. Joshua still talks openly about becoming a three-time world champion and competing in the biggest fights available.

Joshua lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk and was knocked out by Dubois in his most recent fight against a top heavyweight. Those setbacks have left some observers questioning whether he can still compete with the division’s most dangerous names.

The skepticism was evident throughout the reaction to Joshua’s list. Rather than debating which fight should happen first, many fans focused on whether he could defeat any of the opponents he mentioned.

Joshua sees Fury, Dubois, Wardley, Kabayel, Itauma, and Wilder as major opportunities still available to him.
