Ryan Garcia wins the WBC welterweight title with a wide unanimous decision over Mario Barrios, settling the fight early and never letting it tighten.

Garcia scored a first-round knockdown with a right hand and spent the next 11 rounds working behind the jab, stepping in with quick combinations, and keeping Barrios at the end of his punches. Barrios struggled to build sustained offense or hold center. The judges returned scores of 119-108, 120-107, and 118-109, moving Garcia to 25-2 (20 KOs) and handing Barrios a clear defeat in a bout that was controlled from the opening minute.

Gary Antuanne Russell retained his WBA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision over Andy Hiraoka, but the verdict was met with loud boos from the crowd. Russell boxed sharply behind his jab and quick counters over 12 rounds, while Hiraoka pressed forward and had moments in the middle rounds that made it competitive. The judges scored it 117-110 and 116-111 twice for Russell, who improves to 19-1 (17 KOs), while Hiraoka drops to 24-1 in his first defeat.

Frank Martin was held to a 10-round draw against Nahir Albright in a fight that slipped away late and exposed issues for the Errol Spence-promoted contender. Martin controlled stretches early with his left hand, but Albright’s pressure and body work turned the second half, and a controversial pause in the 10th to have his mouthpiece replaced came out as he was attempting to finish off his badly hurt opponent.

All three judges scored it 95-95, leaving Martin at 19-1-1 (13 KOs) in a result that feels like a setback, while Albright moves to 17-2-1 (7 KOs) after a strong showing.

Bektemir Melikuziev outpoints Sena Agbeko over ten rounds, sweeping the scorecards in their super middleweight fight. Fighting from the southpaw stance, Melikuziev set the pace with the right jab and drove the straight left through the middle, backing Agbeko up from the opening round.

Melikuziev invested downstairs early, digging left hands to the body and bringing the same shot upstairs once Agbeko’s guard began to rise. Agbeko showed durability and kept coming forward, though he struggled to hold center or answer the steady pressure with sustained combinations.

Round after round, Melikuziev reset his feet, punched in compact combinations, and finished exchanges with the cleaner work. The body attack slowed Agbeko’s output and kept him reacting rather than leading.

The decision was wide and deserved. The win moves Melikuziev to 17-1 (10 KOs), while Agbeko’s toughness carried him the distance without ever shifting the direction of the fight.

Middleweight Amari Jones delivered a dominant performance, stopping veteran Luis Arias after four rounds of their clash. Jones dropped Arias early and continued breaking him down with combinations and body shots, leaving Arias unable to continue after the fourth round. The stoppage moves Jones to 16-0 with 14 knockouts, while Arias became just the second fighter to be stopped in his career.

Joshua Edwards remained unbeaten but was forced to go the distance for the first time, earning a six-round unanimous decision over Brandon Colantonio. Edwards controlled the fight behind his jab and steady pressure, winning every round on all three scorecards by 60-54 margins. Edwards improves to 6-0 with 5 knockouts, while Colantonio showed durability by lasting the full fight despite being outworked throughout.

Mohammed Alakel stayed unbeaten by stopping David Calabro in the second round of their super featherweight preliminary fight. Alakel controlled the range early and ended it with two left hooks to the body, the second knockdown forcing the referee to halt the bout at 2:27 of round two. The win moves Alakel to 8-0 with 2 knockouts, while Calabro was unable to handle the size difference and sustained body attack.
