Nikita Tszyu (155.6 lbs) and Michael Zerafa (156.9 lbs) meet in a fight that sits inside a familiar local cycle. A surname still being tested. A veteran whose value has never relied on timing or presentation. The interest is about how long the younger man can stay comfortable once the fight stops moving his way.
The event starts Friday at 3:00 am USA ET, 8:00 am UK, no broadcast details in the US were announced.

Zerafa, 32, brings the longer record and has been in with better names. Tszyu, 26, represents the younger generation trying to move past him. The undercard includes Nelson Asofa-Solomona making his professional debut after leaving rugby league, along with Liam Wilson returning to the ring.
Tszyu has pointed to Zerafa’s history in important contests. The 2015 knockout loss to Peter Quillin remains the clearest example, Zerafa was stretchered from the ring that night. More recently, Erislandy Lara controlled him before the fight was stopped. Tszyu suggests those results expose a pattern.
“Michael struggles when put into uncomfortable situations,” Tszyu said this week. “Look at Lara, who made him uncomfortable early. That moment got the better of him—and he broke mentally. I see vulnerabilities there.”
Jeff Fenech and Paulie Malignaggi have echoed similar concerns about Zerafa’s ability to handle the highest level. Zerafa counters that those losses came against elite opposition and that Tszyu has yet to face anyone close to that standard.

Durability Concerns on Both Sides
Both fighters have questioned the other’s chin. Zerafa stated plainly that someone is getting knocked out Friday night, adding that Tszyu’s ability to absorb punishment remains unproven. Tszyu responded with equal skepticism about Zerafa’s durability, particularly given the Quillin knockout.
The back-and-forth has been steady rather than explosive. Neither man has overplayed the personal angle. What exists is a straightforward disagreement about who can impose their style and who breaks first under sustained pressure.
