Tim Bradley scolded Shakur Stevenson, Montana Love, Jaron Ennis, and Ray Ford for their betrayal, helping Jake Paul prepare for his exhibition match against Jake Paul on November 14th, 2025. He says that many of them had previously criticized Jake Paul for his actions in the sport.
Bro Code Broken?
Bradley is critical of those fighters giving Jake lessons in boxing to defeat “one of their brothers,” Tank Davis. He labels Jake as “fakity fake”, and he feels that he’s taking advantage of his popularity to pick out fighters to defeat.
Shakur’s Business Move
Shakur said he agreed because he wants to learn from Jake Paul, who is super rich. Stevenson wants to learn from him while helping him out. “Get a chance to pick a great business mind, and help give some game in the process.”
“He’s fake. He ain’t real. Y’all all over there serving him up, giving him boxing lessons,” said Tim Bradley on his channel, lecturing Shakur Stevenson for volunteering to help Jake Paul as a sparring partner prepare for his exhibition match against Gervonta Davis.
“Giving him secrets to defeat your brother, Gervonta Davis. Whether you hate him or love him, that’s crazy to me,” said Bradley. “Jake is fighting a 130-pounder, one of your brothers.”
Tank Davis Loyalty Debate
Why should Shakur feel loyal to Tank Davis when he wouldn’t fight him? If anything, he should view Davis as his sworn enemy for ignoring his attempts to get a fight against him in the last two years. It doesn’t make sense for him not to want to help Jake, especially when he can use him as a mentor to help his career.
Bradley brings up the backlash that ‘Boots’ Ennis dealt with when he helped out Canelo Alvarez prepare for Terence Crawford. It backfired with Canelo losing, making Ennis appear “stupid” for messing up his chances of getting a fight against Crawford.
