“Hand Will Not Return”: Eubank Jr. Warns Nigel Benn After Throat Grab, Triggering Conor

Chris Eubank Jr. warned Conor Benn’s 61-year-old dad, Nigel Benn, today at Thursday’s press conference that he won’t get his hand back if he touches him again. Conor got triggered, reacting to Eubank Jr’s subtle threat towards his dad, and never regained his composure for the remainder of the press conference.

Former two-division world champion Nigel placed his hand on Eubank Jr’s throat during the egg scuffle on Tuesday. Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KOs) didn’t react violently when Nigel grabbed him due to what had happened. However, he said today that if Nigel does that again, his hand won’t be coming back.

Throat Grab Fallout

Eubank Jr. and Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) are promoting their April 26th fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in London, England. The event will be shown live on DAZN PPV.

Nigel Benn: “I nearly got my hand around your throat.”

Chris Eubank Jr: “I understand, but you did put your hand on my neck. I’m going to give you a pass, becasue of what happened. But I’m letting you know, if you hand ever touches me again, you won’t get it back.”

Conor Benn: “Shut your f**** mouth.”

Eubank Jr: “I’m not threatening him.”

Nigel: “Conor, let me explain. I’m old school. This is no problem. I understand and I apologize for doing that, mate. I really am sorry that I done that. You put your hand on my son.”

Conor: “Shut your mouth. Your dad don’t like you. Just admit it.”

Eubank Jr: “I’m here and I’m ready to go. Look at your team, dysfunctional.”

Nigel: “You know what it is? He poked the bear. Just know what’s going to happen. Listen to me. This does not go past four rounds.”

Eubank Jr: “Okay, I got it.”

Nigel: “No, you’re going to be done.100% sure. I’m so confident what my son can do.”

Conor: “Eubank, I can’t wait to smash your head in on the 26th. I’ve had enough of your voice, talking s*** the whole time. Just shut your mouth. On April 26th, you’re getting your head smashed in.”
