An amped-up promoter, Eddie Hearn, introduced Team today, promising a “whitewash” for the Matchroom vs. Queensberry 5v5 competition on DAZN on June 1st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Hearn is predicting total domination for his five, seeing all of them destroying the Queensberry competition at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

Eddie has picked a good one as his Team captain, choosing former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder to lead as he takes on the big-punching Zhilei Zhang in a fight that will be a war.

Hearn’s Fighter-by-Fighter Breakdown

  • Filip Hrgovic: “Not just my team, but the A-team. The man to my right, Filip Hrgovic, one of the most dangerous heavyweights in the world. That’s why they call him ‘El Animal.’ He’s about to take Daniel Dubois to school in Riyadh and stop him in the mid to late rounds,” said promoter Eddie Hearn on X, introducing his five fighters for the 5v5 competition on June 1st on DAZN in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Deontay Wilder: “The man to his left and the captain of the Matchroom team, the one and only ‘Bronze Bomber.’ He’s one of the most dangerous men in the heavyweight division. When I saw him in the hotel earlier today, I saw the look in his eyes that said, ‘This man is back with bad intentions.’ He will destroy Zhilei Zhang inside three rounds.
  • Raymond Ford: “Here, Raymond Ford, the best 126-pounder in the world. 25 years of age, Camden, New Jersey. Nick Ball, we love him. Nonstop relentless pressure. He’s going to get taken to school, picked apart, and stopped later on.
  • Craig Richards: “‘Spider,’ my big pick in the light heavyweight division. I think this is a guaranteed win. Wily Hutchinson is going to bring the pressure, bring the heart, but this guy with a long reach under Shane McGuigan is going to take him out and stop him late.
  • Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams: “Ammo Williams, I know he’s got a handful with Hamzah Sheeraz. I know he’s a big pick. This guy is about to show you why he’s one of the most ferocious fighters that come out of America in a long time. Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams is going to knockout Hamzah Sheeraz, and book his place in the WBC world championship.

“This is Team Matchroom, we’re out June 1st. It’s a whitewash, baby,” said Hearn about his five fighters for the event on DAZN.
