Rolly Romero Predicts Early Night, Cruz Promises Punishment

Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero is dismissive of his opponent Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz, predicting a quick first-round knockout in “30-40” seconds in his title defense of his WBA light welterweight title this Saturday, March 30th at the T-Mobile Arena in Laa Vegas.

Disrespect Fuels the Fire

Cruz (25-2-1, 17 KOs) promises to make Rolly (15-1, 13 KOs) pay for the disrespect that he’s shown to him throughout the promotion, and he seems dead serious.

He wants to make the carefree, goofy Rolly pay and end his 15 minutes of fame as the WBA champion, which some fans feel was bestowed on him by referee Tony Weeks.

“I’m not going to come out with my hands tied; I’m ready to throw. I am prepared for whatever he wants to do,” said Cruz.

It would be a good idea for Rolly to stay on his bike because he won’t last long if he stands and brawls with Cruz.

He doesn’t have the chin or talent to mix it in a dog fight against Pitbull Cruz, who specializes in that type of fighting, and he’ll be loading up with everything he throws to get some payback.

Confidence and Predictions

“I live free in everyone’s head. I got a nice little mansion in there,” said Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero to the media ahead of his fight this Saturday night against Isaac Cruz. “After this fight, I’m going to have a lot more fun.

“30-40 second bout. I do my best work in 30 or 40 seconds,” said Rolly about his prediction for Cruz. “We shall see,” said Rolly when told that Pitbull said that he can’t knock him out.

“This is his fundamentals. He goes this way and gets punched in the face. He goes this way and gets punched in the face. He goes boom, boom, boom, boom. Those are his fundamentals, and ain’t nobody going to take my opinion off of that one.

“He just has no neck. That’s just his head. I’ll tell you this. I just need to hit him once [to the body]. Fat boy [Pitbull Cruz] has been eating tacos. This mother f*** wouldn’t have beat me on my worst day. That’s all I can say,” said Rolly.
