Jarrell Miller riles up Anthony Joshua, says Wilder puts him in grave

Heavyweight Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller got Anthony Joshua in a state of rage during today’s kickoff press conference for the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card on December 23rd in Saudi Arabia.

‘Big Baby’ Miller stole the show, taking over the kickoff press conference today, and bringing some badly-needed life to the show because it was like a funeral in there before he spoke up to liven things up. Joshua had nothing to say, and the rest of the fighters either were mute or struggling with the English language.

For future press conferences, Joshua needs to have his promoter Eddie Hearn, do the talking for him because he’s sadly inept at defending himself, and Miller will continue to push his buttons by speaking truths.

Miller (26-0-1, 22 KOs), who is facing the recently knocked out Daniel Dubois on the card, let Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) know that he doesn’t want any part of fighting former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, which is what a lot of boxing fans believe.

Interestingly, Joshua didn’t deny anything that Big Baby Miller said about him wanting no part in fighting the killer Deontay. The fact that AJ was nearly apoplectic with rage suggests that Miller’s comments were deadly accurate, things that Joshua knows to be true.

It’s already been established that Joshua has been avoiding Wilder for many years and fighting weaker opposition to preserve his career.

From there, Joshua lost his temper and told Miller to shut up, or he would slap him. Miller then continued to bash Joshua, letting him out that Wilder would send him to the grave if the two ever fought and that if he were to face him, he’d send him to the hospital.

‘Big Baby’ Miller did bring up some good points about Joshua wanting none of the “smoke” with the knockout artist Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) because if he did, he’d have fought him years ago, and he wouldn’t be wasting time with veteran Otto Wallin.

Miller was supposed to fight Joshua in June 2019 in New York but tested positive for a banned substance and was replaced by Andy Ruiz Jr, who knocked out AJ in the seventh round.

Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller: “We all know for a fact that AJ wants no smoke with Deontay,” said Miller during today’s kick-off press conference for the December 23rd ‘Day of Reckoning’ event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Anthony Joshua: “Shut the f**k up. Don’t start with me. You know I’ll come over there and slap you. I see you brought your mom here again.”

Miller: “Like I said, we all know that AJ don’t want no smoke with Deontay. As much as I don’t like Deontay, I know Deontay will put that mother f***r in the grave.

“I’ll make it easy for you. You can either fight Deontay and go to the grave or fight me and go to the hospital. Either way, you get your a** whooped. So pick your poison. Let’s stop all that talking. Take Eddie Hearn’s thumb out of your a** and pick someone that can really fight. Either me or Deontay. One of the Americans will whoop your a**. Stop running, you English muffin.”

Joshua: “You are not doing nothing.”

Miller: “Listen, bro. You’re softer than baby s**t.”

Joshua: “Watch your mouth.”

Miller: “You’re softer than baby s**t. Stop running from me. Stop running from Deontay. Man, up and fight somebody with a heartbeat, bro.”

Frank Warren: “Daniel Dubois has got to stop this. We can’t have it. You’re not going to let him do this, Daniel.”

It would have been good on Joshua’s part for him to answer Miller back by explaining why he hasn’t fought Wilder instead of just telling him to ‘shut up.’ That just made Joshua look guilty.
