Boxing results: Bader Samreem stops Gonzales!

By Ken Hissner: At the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Saturday over DAZN promoter Ahmed AM Seddiqi presented in the main event lightweight Bader Samreen, who stopped Jose ‘Cuate’ Paez Gonzales in five rounds.

In the co-main event, super flyweight Sultan Al Nuaimi came off the floor in the first round to win by decision over Jemsi Kibazange.

In the main event, lightweight Bader ‘The Master’ Samreen, 9-0 (8), #135, of Dubai, UAE, stopped Jose ‘Cuate’ Paez Gonzales, 16-2-2 (12), #135, of Hermosillo, Sonora, MEX, 1:37 of the fifth round of a scheduled ten rounds.

In the first three rounds, Gonzales was the aggressor, as Samreen countered him. In the fourth round Gonzales was doing well until Samreen landed a left and a chopping right on the head and down he went as Referee David Irving gave him the 8-count.

Samreen went right after him as Gonzales fought back to no avail. He was defenseless in the corner when referee Irving called a halt.

In the co-main Event Super Fly Sultan Al Nuaimi, 10-0 (6), #115, of UAB, easily defeated Jemsi KIibazange, 18-7-3 (5), #115, of Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, over ten rounds.

In the first round, Nuaimi was knocked down by Klibazange for an 8-count from Referee Chevelov. Showboated.

In the seventh round, Nuaimi rocked Klibazange with a left hook in the final minute, hurting him. In the eighth through the tenth rounds, Klibazange ran around the ring. Referee Andrei Chevelov

Scores 96-93 by all judges and 98-91 KH.

Cruiser southpaw Mohammed ‘The Destroyer’ Bekdash, 26-0 (23), #208 ¼, of Syria and Regen, Bayern, GER, stopped Musa ‘Dynasor’ Ntege, 8-5 (6), #190 ¼, of Nansana UG, at 1:38 of the first round 8 rounds.

In the first round, a lead left from southpaw Bekdash on the chin and down went Ntege for an 8-count from Referee Andredi Chevelov. Seconds later Bekdash again knocked down Ntege with a flurry of punches causing Referee Chevelov to call a halt in this mismatch.

Super feather Bishara Sabbar, 7-0 (4), #128 ¾, of Amman, JOR, defeated southpaw Mohd Azahar, 8-6-1 (7), #129 ¾, of India, eight rounds, for the WBC Youth Silver.

In the first four rounds, it was all Sabbar pressing Azahar. In the fifth round, Azahar finally started throwing punches, but Sabbar still had the edge.

In the sixth round, Sabbar landed a right driving Azahar back to the ropes. In the eighth and final round, Sabbar continued to outwork Azahar. Referee David Irving

Welter Olympian Marwan Mohamad Madboly, 3-0 (2), #147, of Egypt,
stopped southpaw Sheldon Schultz, 4-5 (4), #147, of Gauteng, RSA, at 1:30 of the first round of a scheduled six rounds.

In the first round, it was all Madboly who finally caught up with Schultz landing a left hook on the chin and down he went with Madboly hit him again as Referee Andrei Chevelov counted him out.
