Logan Paul wants Tommy Fury if Jake rematch doesn’t happen

By Sean Jones: Logan Paul is saying he’s ready to step in and avenge his brother Jake Paul’s defeat by taking on Tommy Fury next with his “inflatable arms” in his next fight if he chooses to go in another direction.

It bothered Logan watching Jake (6-1, 4 KOs) suffer his first career defeat inside the ring, and he wants to give Tommy (9-0, 4 KOs) a taste of his own medicine by providing the 23-year-old his first loss.

Logan Paul:  “Yeah, that was my first instinct. It’s my little brother, f**k that. Inflatable arm-a**, mother f***ker,” said to BS w/ Jake Paul about wanting to take on Tommy Fury.

Jake Paul: “You avenge my loss. I avenge your loss. We start an avenger movie.”

Logan: “Can you imagine that? That would be great.”

Thus far, Jake, 26, is leaning toward using his rematch clause to force a second fight with Tommy, but he could change his mind if he sees the KSI match-up as more lucrative.

Also, Carl Froch, the 45-year-old former super middleweight champion who is a household name in the UK and would give Jake a lot more credibility if he were to beat him than the unaccomplished Tommy Fury.

The only thing Tommy has going for him is he’s the brother of Tyson Fury and was on Love Island.

Tyson Fury has already made it known that he wants Tommy to fight Jake in a rematch and Logan Paul after that. Of course, he would be happy if they reversed that as well, with Logan coming next for Tommy.

Who next for Tommy Fury?

“He outboxed Jake Paul and did all the things asked of him,” said Gareth A. Davies to talkSPORT Boxing about what Tommy Fury should do next. “They have a difficult problem, but why not in an inherently dangerous sport?

“You put yourself on Love Island, and he and Molly Mae are very much a celebrity couple right now; he earned huge money for beating Jake Paul, they stepped up, and he showed he knows boxing skills.

“There’s a lot of vulnerability about him as a boxer, but he’s got the rudiments. KSI is calling him out, and he has 41.5 million social media followers, and it’s an enormous fight. KSI isn’t even the boxer that Jake Paul is, and he’s improving as well, so why not take that fight?

“I think Tommy might take the Jake Paul rematch first of all. There’s lots of money. He has nothing to worry about with Jake Paul because Tommy can get better.

“Jake Paul isn’t suddenly going to develop a ramrod jab and a way of using his feet to get inside because Tommy tied him up very cleverly as soon as he got close. They both got close and they both got penalized when they did that sort of thing as well by an overzealous referee,” said Gareth.
