By Adam Baskin: WBC lightweight champion Devin ‘The Dream’ Haney is vowing to bring all the titles back home to the United States after he rips the four belts away from unified champ George Kambosos Jr. this Sunday, June 5th, in their undisputed championship fight.

The 23-year-old Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) sees himself as being levels above the older 28-year-old Australian Kambosos Jr (20-0, 10 KOs).

Although Kambosos has the majority of the belts at 135, Haney feels he’s head & shoulders above him in the talent department, and he plans on making that clear to the world.

Kambosos vs. Haney will be meeting in the main event at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The fight will be shown on ESPN+ and ESPN at 9:00 p.m. ET this Saturday, June 4th.

With Australia being ahead of the U.S, the Kambosos vs. Haney fight will be taking place in that country on June 5th.

“What was the point of even coming if you didn’t bring the belts? Aren’t we fighting for the belts? Why wouldn’t you bring the belts? F*** clown,” said Devin Haney on Sunday, expressing disappointment at Kambosos’ failure to bring his titles.

“There’s nothing he can do in the ring that’s better than me, and I will show it on fight night,” said Haney. “I just think I’m on a whole different level.”

I definitely think that’s a super fight, but I can’t look past George [Kambosos]. That’s my main focus right now is George,” said Haney to Gareth A Davies, when asked if a bout against WBA ‘regular’ lightweight champion Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis would be a huge clash in the near future.

“Like I said, it’s the biggest fight [Kambosos vs. Haney], so how can I look past it when it’s for everything? My main focus is to remain focused on George, and after the fight when I’m victorious, we can pick him and choose who’s next.

Of course, I’m not ducking & dodging anybody. I want to make the biggest fights happen. I’ve said that time and time again, and I’m proving that as we speak. Yeah, of course,” said Haney when asked if a fight between him and Ryan Garcia could be a possibility after he gets past Kambosos.

“I haven’t seen that too much. I’ve really just been training & staying isolated, so I can’t really say I’ve been out so much. I’ve just been training, coming back, and just chilling & resting.

“I haven’t seen that yet,” said Devin when asked if he’s noticed now that he’s in Australia.

“Us fighters have the power, and if we truly want to make a fight happen, we do what it takes to make it happen. I’ve literally shown that I wanted this fight, I begged for this fight [against Kambosos], and I did anything to make it happen,” Haney said when asked if champions can do more to make undisputed matches take place.

“I am coming for all of them and bringing them all back,” said Haney about the lightweight titles.
