LIVE: “Sons of Legends” Morrison vs. Rahman Jr. FITE TV Stream On April 29

Media is proud to announce the return of LIVE Championship Boxing presented by Roy Jones Jr. Promotions in association with Ares Entertainment, TITLE Boxing, and FITE TV coming to The Theater at Virgin Hotel on April 29, 2022. Fight fans will be treated to one of the most exciting and unique nights of boxing in Las Vegas. For the first time in boxing history, the sons of Heavyweight Champions will meet in the ring.

In the Main Event, Kenzie “TCB” Morrison 19-0-2 (17 KOs), son of boxing legend and former two-time Heavyweight Champion Tommy “The Duke” Morrison, will battle Hasim “Gold Blooded” Rahman, 12-0 (6 KOs), son of Heavyweight legend and two-time World Champion Hashim Rahman for the WBC USNBC Heavyweight Championship.

This bout will mark the first time in boxing history for two sons of former Heavyweight Champions to battle. Morrison and Rahman put their lofty rankings, undefeated records, and possible future World Title shots on the line. “We are extremely excited to have Morrison and Rahman fight for the WBC USNBC Heavyweight Title. When two big punchers meet, we are bound to see fireworks,” says Ares Entertainment Owner Michael Abul. Lisa Veltre, President of Roy Jones Jr. Promotions, says, “The fact that these fighters are undefeated and meeting at this time in their careers is truly remarkable.”

The Co-Main event will feature Keith Hunter, 14-1 (9 KOs), son of Heavyweight and Cruiserweight legend Mike “the Bounty” Hunter as he takes one more step toward a world ranking. The feature bout of the evening will mark the Las Vegas debut of Robert Duran Jr., 9-1 (7 KOs), son of one of the greatest fighters of all time and four division World Champion “Manos De Piedra” Roberto Duran.

The event will also showcase Robert Daniels Jr., 6-0 (5 KOs), son of former World Cruiserweight Champion Robert “Preacherman” Daniels; Sharif Rahman, 5-0 (3 KOs), son of Hasim Rahman; Gerald McClellan Jr., 1-0 (1 KO), son of former world Middleweight Champion, Gerald “The G-Man” McClellan. Amateur standout Steve Cunningham Jr., son of former World Cruiserweight Champion Steve “USS” Cunningham, will also debut.
