Ryan Garcia directs Isaac Cruz to “Sign the contract”

By Sean Jones: Speaking like a King Ryan Garcia, he demanded that Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz sign the contract on Friday to fight next in early 2022. The former WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan (21-0, 18 KOs) and Pitbull Cruz (22-2-1, 15 KOs) are negotiating a headliner fight on DAZN for April.

Cruz is ready to give Ryan the fight, but he intends on making him regret that he picked him as his opponent. Ryan directed his laser sights on Pitbull Cruz after watching what he did to Gervonta ‘Tank Davis, and he wants to be seen doing a better job of beating the talented Mexican warrior.

This could turn out to be a tremendous mistake on Ryan’s part in choosing a high-level fighter like Isaac Cruz as his next opponent because this is for real and one of the elite fighters in the 135-lb division.

Sean Jones rates Cruz above everyone in the division aside from Vasily Lomachenko. Pitbull is right up there even with Tank Davis and a notch below #1 Lomachenko.

Pitbull Cruz, 23, and his management are taking their time, looking over the contract details to ensure that it’s to their liking before they agree to the match against the Golden Boy promoted King Ry.

Ryan Garcia NEEDS this fight

Right after talking up five big fights in 2021 that never materialized, the 23-year-old Ryan is very NEEDY right now, desperate almost for a career-saving battle against the talented “Pitbull’ Cruz, who was arguably robbed of a victory earlier this month in his title challenge of WBA secondary lightweight champion Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.

Pitbull Cruz gave a quick analysis of what he thinks of Ryan Garcia on Wednesday, saying to DAZN News:

“He’s more focused on making videos and having followers on Instagram. But if he wants to fight, let him come at me.”

Here’s Ryan talking like a King to Isaac Cruz:

As you can see, Ryan is going overboard with his ordering about, seemingly transforming into a real would-be King in the 21st century.

We’ll see if Isaac Cruz responds to Ryan’s commands for him to “sign the contract” or not. Cruz is in the position of power right now after the performance he put on against Tank Davis on December 5th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Pitbull Cruz deserved the win over Gervonta Davis

No one has given Tank the kinds of problems that Cruz did with him getting in low and tagging him with shots to the midsection and head. Tank is usually the one coming forward, putting pressure on his opponents, but he couldn’t do this against Pitbull Cruz.

Early on, the 27-0ld-year-old Gervonta took the fight to Pitbull Cruz, but when he stood his ground and began wearing him out with body shots, Tank was forced to flee.

Tank Davis took a beating from Cruz

It was the strangest thing that Sean Jones has ever seen because Tank has never run from an opponent, but he basically hoisted up the white flag of surrender at the midpoint of the fight and turned his back to the Pitbull.

From that point on, Tank sustained a steady bombardment by Pitbull as the Mayweather-promoted fighter fled the battlefield, resembling Napoleon’s long retreat from Moscow in 1812.
