KEN HISSNER: In getting started promoting where were some of the facilities you promoted at?

MARSHALL KAUFFMAN: River Edge Restaurant and Sovereign Center in Reading. Day’s Inn and Rodeway Inn both in Allentown.

KEN HISSNER: How did you get involved with working with Al Haymon?

MARSHALL KAUFFMAN: Well my first experience with Al Haymon was when he signed Travis back in 2008 and we started a business relationship back then  which eventually turned into a friendship and in 2014 I started promoting shows for PBC.

KEN HISSNER: How great was it Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner just won a world title in the UK?

MARSHALL KAUFFMAN: It was like a dream come true! We, meaning Andrew Foy and I always knew that she had the ability to win the World Title but the powers that be controlled women’s boxing and we were not sure we would get that chance unless we forced the fight through the organizations but it all came together.

KEN HISSNER: I understand you sometime work out of another residence you have in Houston, Texas, what if anything do you do there pertaining to boxing?

MARSHALL KAUFFMAN: I help train boxers and work with James Cooper who is a trainer and owner at a gym called O Athletik which is also owned by NFL players Trent Williams and Adrian Peterson.

KEN HISSNER: I want to thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to answer some questions.

MARSHALL KAUFFMAN:  It is my pleasure and I hope people get to read this article.
