By Brad Marchetti: Tonight from the Airport Hilton in Miami, FL an overflow of young South Florida talent will be on display with a stacked 10-bout card from Laura Ching’s M & R Boxing Promotions.

The headliner will be undefeated cruiserweight bomber Serik Musadilov, 9-0, 9 KO’s looking to extend his knockout streak.

The stocky 26-year old Musadilov goes under the moniker “Panda” and will try to make a bamboo snack of 30-year old Brooklyn veteran Lamont Capers.

Musadilov has knocked out all of his opponents in 3 rounds or less but the slickster nicknamed “Too Smooth” Capers recently fought a draw with a 14-2 fighter and could extend Musadilov the distance.

On the undercard bantamweight Bronze medallist Joahnys Argilagos, 6-0, 3 KO’s, will have a chance to steal the show against Chilean Juan Pablo Meza, 4-1, 1 KO’s. The 24-year old Argilagos is a mega prospect that has scored half of his wins within two rounds. The brave Meza will be coming to fight in front of a lively South Florida crowd and that could be to his own detriment. The explosive 24-year old Argilagos should be able to put Meza on ice in spectacular fashion within the first 3:00 minutes.

Exciting Filipino Jr. Lightweight prospect Mark Bernaldez, 22-4, 16 KO’s, will be pitted against Mexican rogue journeyman Juan Kantun, 21-11-3, 15 KO’s. The 30-year old Bernaldez is an aggressive boxer/puncher that has contender ability so expect “Machete” to hack Kantun’s coconut in half around the 5th.

Physically imposing lightweight Josec Ruiz, 22-4, 15 KO’s. The durable 26-year old has never been stopped and always puts on a good show. Ruiz will take on a rough customer in Paraguay southpaw Ramon “The Surgeon” Esperanza, 22-18-1, 11 KO’s. Expect Ruiz to be the one with the sharper scalpel with his winging hooks causing Esperanza to call it a day around the 6th round.

Another prospect to keep an eye on is 19-year old Jr. lightweight Frank Diaz, 7-0, 6 KO’s, a speedy southpaw that attacks the body and is a local fan favorite. Diaz will take on on Uganda brawler Phillip Adyaka, 7-14, 4 KO’s. Adyaka’s record is deceiving with the majority of his fights against top-level competition so expect Diaz to be tested.

26-year-old Kazakstan lightweight Nikolay Shvab, 6-0, 3 KO’s, is another prospect that will look to light up the glamorous Hilton crowd in attendance with his swarming style. Shvab was a quality amateur and has nice upside. Shvab will take on 32- fight veteran Rondale Hubert.

With a total of 8 undefeated prospects on the card, this is a can’t miss a night of boxing from the luxurious Hilton Hotel in Miami. Come watch Magic City’s best pugilist duke it live or on Stream Live TV.
