Gilberto Ramirez, once the kingpin of the Super Middleweight division under the World Boxing Organization, is stepping into the ring with a hefty ambition on March 30th. He’s squaring up against the unbeaten Arsen “Feroz” Goulamirian, who’s currently clutching onto the World Boxing Association Cruiserweight World title. Their showdown is set to light up the You Tube Theater at Hollywood Park, Inglewood, California, and promises to be a slobberknocker.

The main event, featuring Goulamirian and Zurdo, is the jewel in the crown of a stacked fight card, brought to us by the lads at Golden Boy Promotions and Y12 Boxing. Fans can catch every punch, live on DAZN.

Ramirez, at 32, isn’t just fighting for another belt. He’s out to etch his name in the annals of boxing history. After being the first Mexican to nab a super middleweight world title, he’s got his sights set on repeating history in the cruiserweight division against Goulamirian, the Armenian bruiser who’s made his home in France but trains out of Big Bear, California.

“I’m gunning to be the first Mexican cruiserweight champ and bag a world title in two different divisions,” declared Ramirez. He reflected on his previous bouts, noting each fight has honed his skills, adding new tricks to his arsenal. The move up in weight seems to be suiting him, making his training and preparation smoother.

But Ramirez isn’t stopping there. He’s got dreams of dominating the heavyweight division next, wanting to leave the sport as a multi-division champion. “I’ve got my eyes on unifying the cruiserweight titles or even snagging the undisputed champion title before I jump up a division,” he stated.
