Born in London, DeGale won a Commonwealth Championship Bronze medal in 2006 and an Olympic Gold medal in 2008. He has won 10 straight bouts, including his most recent victory over Marco Antonio Periban.
Immediately following Dirrell-DeGale is Edwin Rodriguez (26-1, 17 KOs) vs. Craig Baker (16-0, 12 KOs) in a light heavyweight bout. Following the NBC show, live boxing continues at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
