By Reynaldo Sanchez: Ameth Oner from Arena Box, moved from Turkey to Miami, the last weekend, in order to begin talks with Roger Veloz and Martin Wass from Veloz Boxing.
Businesspeople gathered in Miami on Monday with the intention of talking about a co promotional deal in a boxing card that would be held in Miami, Florida next June.
The event on which turned discussions, Hairon “El Maja” Socarras 14-01 (13 KO’s) ranked #16 in the WBC super bantamweight class will be the main event. The businessman, met again on morning Tuesday March 24th at the Jorge Rubio’s GYM in Miami, Fla. To continue the cycle of conversations, including the choice of the TV airs this event.
Hairon Socarras is scheduled to fight next April in North Carolina, in a preparation fight for the June event. “This fight will be a ‘tune up’ only. In June, at the co promotional card between Arena Box and Veloz Boxing, we will be disputing a regional WBC title and plan to arrive in excellent condition for this fight” Socarras said.
Mr. Martin Wass from Veloz Boxing said “We plan to make a big event in June in Miami. We are working to put in the line five regional WBC titles. The event will be a card promoted by Veloz Boxing and Arena Box”
Similarly, it was reported that other prospects from Veloz Boxing and trainer Jorge Rubio as Neslan Machado, would be an important part of this card where, could also see other fighters from both Veloz Boxing, and Arena Box.
Ameth Oner and his representative in United States José Perez, alongside the Veloz Boxing people, are committed to the organization of this card. “This is the beginning of a business relationship, in which the exchange will be positive for all of us. Take these great fighters to Europe to show their talent, and we can bring some youth from there also in reciprocity” they concluded this morning.
