By Mark Havey: Recently the sun newspaper ran an article on Muhammad Ali, claiming he was at deaths door. The news was overwhelmingly distressing for his millions of fans around the world. The great man’s Brother was the one who made the claims. He blamed Mrs Ali for being the cause of a huge split in the family. He claimed that the greatest boxer to ever live could be dead in days, and certainly wouldn’t last to summer.

However, the Guardian.co.uk have disputed this. His Daughters claim that far from being close to death on Sunday, their famous Father was busy watching the super bowl. He spend the day at his Arizona home wearing a Baltimore Ravens jersey.

In response to the numerous media Articles written and messages of condolences posted on facebook and twitter, his Daughter said “He’s fine, in fact he was talking well this morning. These rumors pop up every once in a while but there’s nothing to them “

I don’t really know why Ali’s Brother, Rahman, would say these things. I think he does believe what he is saying. Maybe he has been passed on inaccurate information. I can understand why alot of people may be feeling unsure of who to believe. But Rahman did admit that he hasn’t seen the former heavyweight champion in quite some time. on the other hand, Laila Ali, posted a picture on twitter of her Father watching TV.

Rahman appears to be desperate to see his Brother. But he must remember to be very cautious when talking about the man often referred to as the greatest boxer of all time. Muhammad Ali is a treasure to the sport and its fans. And as the most famous man on the planet, stories of him will spread like wildfire. So anything coming from a family source must be true.
