Khan hopping mad at the haters

Image: Khan hopping mad at the hatersBy Scott Gilfoid: I got kick out of Amir Khan’s rant at the haters in today’s tweet session. Khan seemed to be detached from reality, however, when he started blathering about people being jealous of him. That was hilarious.

Here’s what Khan said: “Why do people hate…Haters only hate when they jealous or u made it. At 25 Im former 2 time world champ and being olympic medalist at 17. Maybe its my Success that kills people + there’s more success to come. Even ur [your] own hate It makes me laugh, they will never be me! Or experience my life. I love it. Haters burn and say what u gotta, Every1, gets beat in life its how u bounce back. No1 got a bigger heart or balls then me…I’m still the best and only 25 years young. Jealousy is a horrible thing.”

Man, this reads like a diary hidden under someones bed. I think his latest knockout loss knocked some crazy ideas into his head. Now he’s talking about more success? His success came against an old Zab Judah, a weak punching Paulie Malignaggi, and Andriy Kotelnik.

What on earth are people supposed to be jealous of? Khan getting smacked around by Danny Garcia and knocked out. The sad thing is Khan doesn’t even seem to get it.

Why Didn’t Khan give Breidis Prescott a rematch after he got stretched by him in 2009? He didn’t give Marcos Maidana a rematch after he was pretty much saved by the referee in the 10th when he was getting his backside royally handed to him by Maidana. Khan took that win and was gone, facing weak opposition like Paul McCloskey in a fight that no one on earth, outside of McCloskey fans, wanted to see.

I’d hate to see what Khan says if he suffers another knockout loss. He’s getting too caught up in his own hype and it’s causing him to fight even worse than he already has been.

Khan did a great job against the weaker opponents, but when he’s faced good opposition he’s struggled.

What’s going to happen when Khan faces his first real puncher. He’s been knocked out by Prescott and Danny Garcia, but there are bigger punchers out than those guys. Khan can’t avoid them if he wants to face the best. Mike Alvarado would be a serious risk for Khan.
