Haye-Chisora winner to face one of the Klitschko brothers

By William Mackay: The winner of the July 14th fight between David Haye (25-2, 23 KO’s) and Dereck Chisora (15-3, 9 KO’s) stands to gain a lot besides just money. The winner of the fight will be facing one of the Klitschko brothers. Both Chisora and Haye has already fought one of the Klitschko, and lost in one-sided fights.

However, they still would likely to get a second crack at them due to desire for revenge, and also because of the big payday involved.

Haye’s trainer Adam Booth told thesun.co.uk “I have already been sent a draft contract for David to fight Vitali. We just have to wait and see.”

I’m sure Chisora will have something to say about that. He wants a rematch against Vitali or a fight against Wladimir, who he spit water in his face. I’m not sure that either of the Klitsckos will want to face Chisora even if he beats Haye, because of his wild behavior before the fight in which he spit water into the face of Wladimir and slapped Vitali in the face during the weigh-in. However, if Chisora soundly beats Haye on July 14th at Upton Park, the interest will be too high for the Klitschkos to choose to ignore Chisora.

Wladimir needs to be the one to face Chisora, because he hasn’t faced him yet and it’ll be interesting to see how he does against him because of Wladimir’s athletic ability. We already saw what a big mobile heavyweight like Tyson Fury was able to do to Chisora when he easily beat him last year by a lopsided 12 round decision by using a lot of movement.
