Bradley wants to take over and he intends on giving Pacquiao a whipping in the process of taking his WBO catchweight won welterweight title on June 9th.

Pacquiao arguably shouldn’t even be the WBO champion still after getting thoroughly out-boxed in his last fight against Juan Manuel Marquez last November. What we had here was two judges picking Pacquiao, while pretty much everyone else seeing Marquez as the winner. Marquez, not surprisingly, isn’t being given an immediate rematch. I’m just surprised he got the fight at all with Pacquiao given how bad Marquez mad Pacquiao look in their fight in 2008. That was another fight where a huge proportion of boxing fans saw Marquez beating Pacquaio but two of the judges seeing otherwise.

What this means is that Bradley has to not only beat Pacquiao to get the decision, he’s got to really lash him to get the win. It’s got to be a major whipping in the ring to make sure that World Boxing Organization strap is slung over his shoulder or around his waist at the end of the fight on June 9th. -The best way for Bradley to ensure he gets the win is to knock Pacquiao cold, but I don’t see that as a realistic option because Pacquiao’s head is able to absorb shots without any problem. He can take shots without even flinching, so it’s better off just giving him a thrashing instead of looking to KO him. Pacquiao can be cut and that’s an option as well, but you can’t count on that happening either. It may or may not happen but if the blood is flowing, the chances for Bradley to win go up dramatically.
