I’m so disappointed in Chisora. Why did he have to take it to the gutter like this? It was so sad to see Chisora melting down like and bringing discredit to Britain.

Vitali gave his best guess of what prompted British heavyweight Chisora to slap him in the face during Friday’s weigh-in, suggesting that Chisora is really afraid and is looking to get an advantage.

Vitali says he’s going to make Chisora pay for his slap tomorrow night by punishing him in the ring in front of thousands of fans at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany.

As quoted by Walesonline.co.uk, Vitali said “I’ll be hitting him back tomorrow in the ring. He’s not all there. Dereck is full of nervousness and I feel he is afraid; otherwise he would not have jumped back like he did. He hit me not like a boxer but like a woman, with an open hand. If he wants to fight properly, he must do that with his fists.”

Chisora might as well have hit Vitali with his fists because he’s likely to be fined for striking Vitali just the same as he would if he struck him with a punch outside the ring. Talk about your dumb moves. I wonder what this Brit was thinking when he pulled this move? It’s one thing showing no respect to a great fighter like Vitali, but then to haul off and slap him in the face. What the heck was that all about?

Chisora is going to take a beating for that move and then get fined by the WBC on top of that. If he wanted to do something spectacular then he should have come up with something a little more imaginative that was within the rules. Tagging Vitali and then scurrying away so that he couldn’t hit back is just really weak. Chisora should have stood his ground because he looked bad running away right fter tagging Vitali.

Tomorrow night I see Chisora taking a real pounding. I wish I could say it’ll last the full 12, but it won’t. Chisora will get blown out early in this fight and it’ll be anti-climatic because of how easily he’ll fold. I see Chisora making Haye look great in comparison. But why be surprised? After all, Chisora is coming into this fight having lost two out of his last three fights and is ranked at the dead bottom of the WBC at #15. He’s the last guy that should be fighting for a world title right now. Vitali hand-picked the guy and this is the thanks he gets for giving him a shot at a payday. We’re talking about biting the hand that feeds
