Is Chisora in denial about the beating Vitali is going to give him?

Image: Is Chisora in denial about the beating Vitali is going to give him?By Scott Gilfoid: It’s so sad that Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KO’s) still doesn’t know how badly he’s going to get thrashed by WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) next month. He doesn’t know yet but I think it’s starting to creep into his mind about what’s going to take place on February 18th in Munich, Germany when the punches start flying from the 6’7” Vitali.

Chisora said this to ESPN.co.uk “I don’t care what people think…I am the one the who is going into the ring. I am the one who is doing the fight so I will decide what happens.”

This is what you get when you have a fighter that has been spoon fed weak opposition for too long. They start to get cocky and feel like they’re omnipotent and can walk on water. That’s why it’s always good when you have someone like Vitali that can bring them back down to earth to get their mind right about their limitations.

Chisora sounds almost angry with that comment and that’ a sure fire sign of someone that has doubt creeping into his mind, because a true confident person never gets upset when others doubt them. Chisora must know what’s in store for him but he doesn’t already know, there’s definitely some doubt starting to rear its ugly head.

It really doesn’t matter if Chisora is afraid or the most confident Brit in the world, he’s going to get smashed. I’ve seen plenty of confident fighters march into the ring and get obliterated.

Chisora will be just one more for the collection that’s all. Chisora already realize he has no chance against Vitali just based on Chisora’s lopsided 12 round decision loss to 22-year-old Tyson Fury last year.

Chisora probably has convinced himself that the only reason he lost was because he came into the fight a little over weight. That’s not the reason he lost. Chisora lost because he fought a bigger heavyweight that knew how to use his size and knew how to use the ring to dominate a shorter opponent.

Vitali will be the same way for Chisora. He’ll use the ring and dominate with his superior size AND power. Chisora has really nothing going for him this fight. He’s short, slow, weaker, defensively wide open and inexperienced as heck. Chisora will be a walking punching bag on February 18th, and doesn’t matter whether he cares what boxing fans think or not; he’s going to get blasted to smithereens by Vitali.
