Image: Hughes: Tyson Fury can beat either Klitschko, and is better than Haye & Audley HarrisonBy Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury’s former trainer Brian Hughes sure seems to be impressed with Fury’s talent, and thinks he’s good enough to beat the Klitschko brothers. He also sees him as better than David Haye and Audley Harrison, which kind of goes without saying.

Speaking with The Mirror, Hughes said “Tyson has all the ammunition to be world champion and I’ve no doubts he can beat either Klitschko. He’s certainly got a far better chance than Haye. Tyson’s a genuine heavyweight. He’s got the ability, the personality, and unlike Haye and Audley Harrison, he truly can become a great British world champion.”

I guess that explains why Fury is taking on the dangerous light hitting journeyman Nicolai Firtha (20-8-1, 8 KO’s) next instead of Mike Perez. If Fury is better than the Klitschkos that must be the reason why he’s facing the little known Firtha, who was knocked out by 2nd tier heavyweight Tye Fields.

Let’s be serious now. Haye would likely destroy Fury, and so would 40-year-old Audley Harrison. And a talented young heavyweight like Deontay Wilder would ruin Fury with one swing. It would be an easy fight for Wilder. I see Wilder as the real thing, and he’s the future of the heavyweight division, not a tall slapper with a weight problem like Fury. Let Fury take on the Firtha’s of the boxing world while talking about how he’s going to beat the Klitschkos someday, like never.

Fury will never be able to beat guys like the Klitschkos, because he doesn’t have the power, speed or boxing ability. Wilder is the real guy in the future. I don’t see Fury ever getting to the level of Haye or even Harrison, let alone beating the Klitschkos.
