Henry Rivalta, director of boxing in The Heavyweight Factory, helped in the translation of this interview. Also, he added that just as Solomon, trusts in the victory and very soon, the world of boxing will speak about this fighter. “Solomon is focused in reaching his goals, our duties is to put it every day closer to a fight of world title”

RS: Was the fight against Pablo Vazquez in Panama, where you gained the Intercontinental title, the first one out of North America, in addition to the title, what you had left of this experience?

BS: I learned much of that fight, felt good, know that Vázquez would be a strong rival, but I went so far as to solve there my business, I am focused in my profession and reach a world title.

RS: After your victory on Kenny Galarza, did you reach 3 KO’s, Anges Adjaho stop that blast, you believe that Adjaho has been the most difficult rival that you have faced?

BD: He was a very strong rival, but, I do not believe that it was the most difficult. It has an a little uncomfortable style, styles make fights, I don’t want to take merits from Adjaho, and nevertheless he wasn’t the most difficult rival.

RS: After this fight with Adjaho, I saw you looked a little frustrated, what happened there?

BS: I had some personal problems, that perhaps affected me a little. It had these things in my mind the day of the fight and that one broke a little my concentration.

RS: The welterweight Is the warmest division at this moment, then that you achieved the international belt, which are the goals of Brad Solomon after Hopkins?

BS: I’m thinking about how to fight against the best, wish a fight of world title, now I’m #2 in the WBA ranking, the position #1 is vacant, after this fight of March, I want to face the big ones. I trusted in my style and I’m thinking about how to fight with Mayweather, Berto, Pacquiao or any champion in this level.

RS: Jesus Soto Karass and Mike Jones are good fighters, the fight of last November was impressive, what you think about that fight and about both?

BS: It was a very good and very very close fight, I am not a Judge, but I saw a very disputed fight. Mike Jones doesn’t want to face me for that he knows that it will not happen equally in a fight between us, he couldn’t conquer me by decision or KO.

RS: What do you think about the next fight between Manny Pacquiao y Sugar Shane Mosley?

BD: I consider that if Shane Mosley comes the night of the fight in excellent physical conditions, and fight could do as it about 2 or 3 years behind, he can reach a victory.

RS: In 2010, was there a lot of activity for Solomon, there were 7 fights a big number of fights, in 2011 you have plans of continuing with this rhythm?

BS: I am going to keep the same physical and mental activity of last year. I wish a world title right now; my dream is to win a fight of world title.

(H.R. personally admired him, he is a young man that hard work, and I believe that it will reach soon his goals, I hope to be there when it does it and to finish his career along with him it would be a big privilege).
