Image: Ward to prove his greatness against Bika on November 27thBy Scott Gilfoid: With Andre Dirrell out of commission temporarily with neurological problems, World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight champion Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KO’s) is set to prove his greatness next month against former failed title challenger Sakio Bika (28-4, 19 KO’s) on November 27th at the Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California. Ward, 26, will show the boxing world why he’s considered the toughest fighter in all of boxing by many fans as he turns Bika, a good serviceable fighter, into an over-matched punching dummy for 12 rounds in front of a sell out Oakland crowd.

Ward won’t knock Bika out, because the Cameroon fighter has a rock iron chin. However, Bika may end up wishing he were knocked out by the time this fight is over because the talented Ward is going to give Bika a beating along the same lines as Vitali Klitschko’s crushing 12 round decision win over a hapless Shannon Briggs last Saturday night in Germany. Ward is going to make Bika suffer slowly round after round on 11/27. This is going to be one of those boxing clinics where Ward shows his ability to the world for 12 rounds.

By the end of this fight, boxing fans will no longer look at IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute as the best fighter in the division. Instead, they’ll see Ward as the number #1 guy and will finally see why Bute has been slow in wanting to take on the better fighters in the division. Ward is the master of the inside and outside of the sport. He can fight like Bernard Hopkins in close and at the same time dazzle like Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the outside with his fast hands and brilliant footwork. Ward is going to turn Bika into a caveman on November 27th and it’s going to open some eyes in the boxing world. Bika is considered a tough warrior, yet he will no match for Ward.
