Those guys are all good punchers, but Froch is now facing the biggest puncher of the tournament by far in 30-year-old Abraham, and unlike Dirrell, Froch doesn’t have the speed or the defense to keep from getting hit a lot. In a way, Froch is like the dream opponent for Abraham.

Froch keeps his hands down by his sides when he fights instead of in front of his head, he stands right in front of his opponents trying to trade, and he’s slow in reacting to incoming fire. Simply put, Froch is there to be hit. No doubt Froch likes to fire back after he’s been hit. He a good counter puncher, but only after he’s been hit. That’s the whole problem, though. Froch is going to get hit and get hit a lot. With a puncher as powerful as Abraham, I don’t see how even the steel-chinned Froch can hold up under that kind of pounding for 12 rounds.

Taylor and Dirrell were able to do it by using their excellent jabs and moving a lot. Froch doesn’t have a good jab and moves like an inch worm around the ring. He doesn’t move quick enough to avoid Abraham’s attacks and I can see Froch getting badly hurt in this fight. Dirrell was hurt, but only because he slipped on the canvas. He was much too fast for Abraham and was making him miss all night long. Froch can’t do those kinds of things. He’s to getting hit with the same kinds of shots that gave Dirrell head problems all night long.

I don’t care how great of a chin that Froch has. A human head isn’t built to take the kinds of punches that Abraham throws round after round without getting knocked out. Froch has a chance in this fight if he runs, but you and know he can’t and he won’t/. He’s got too much ego to run and he won’t be able to run anyway because he doesn’t have the legs. The leg speed isn’t there. If he could borrow Dirrell’s legs, I’d give him a chance but I think Froch would still blow it by trying to trade with Abraham and wind up getting knocked out anyway.
