Haye-Valuev: Will David destroy Goliath?

haye5334By Steven Wain: Ok before I start I would like to apologies for my previous article, it was not meant to offend anyone, it was just a hit at a one Mr Gilfoid to show anyone can write complete nonsense and yes before anyone asks I do believe Hopkins is a legend.

Right now I have got that out the way, in just over 2 months on November 7th David “Haymaker” Haye (22-1-21 KO’s) will come “face to face” with the 7 ft Russian giant known as Nikolay Valuev (50-1-34 KO’s).

Valuev is obviously the worse of the heavyweight champions, and in my eyes very lucky to still be WBA World heavyweight champion after his controversial majority decision over American legend Evander Holyfield, Valuev has a height advantage and experience over Haye but nothing else however with only losing once in 52 fights he’s should not be taken lightly by Haye.

Haye who is a former undisputed cruiserweight champion, has speed and power on his side, but is still yet to prove himself in the heavyweight division, although he did destroy Monte Barrett by TKO in 5 rounds, but will the step up in class be to big for Haye?

So who will win the 7ft Russian giant or the loud mouthed Brit? Personally I would have to go for Haye he just seems to be better tactically and overall just the better boxer, however if Haye takes valuev to lightly he could be in for some trouble.

If Haye sticks to a game plan and protects his some what dodgy chin, stays out of the reach of valuev and doesn’t allow Valuev to suffocate him under his giants arms then Haye could be the new World champion, well come November 7th we will find out.
