By Jim Dower: 43-year-old James Toney (74-7-3, 45 KO’s) defeated Bobby Gunn (21-5-1, 18 KO’s) by a 5th round stoppage on Saturday night to capture the IBU heavyweight title at the Landers Center, in Southaven, Mississippi, United States. Gunn injured his right hand in the 4th and didn’t come out of the 5th round.
