Image: Adrien Broner: I'm just in another league from other fighters; I'll show you why on July 21stBy Scott Gilfoid: WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner (23-0, 19 KO’s) sees himself as being in another level compared to all of the other good fighters in the sport of boxing. Broner openly acknowledges that there are a lot of good fighters in the sport, but he doesn’t see them as being able to hold a candle to his own amazing talent.

Broner faces #1 WBO contender Vicente Escobedo (26-3, 15 KO’s) on July 21st at the U.S. Bank Arena, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he’s going to show how talented he is when he whips Escobedo in front of what will likely be a massive amount of fans at the Bank Arena, as well as the fans that will be tuning in to watch him show his stuff on HBO.

Broner said on his twitter “Some people just don’t understand the meaning of things. It’s some good fighters in the world, but I’m just in another league. July 21st, I will show why.”

I agree. Broner is going to really clown Escobedo and make him look silly. Broner has been beating guys lately while still in 1st gear, but for Escobedo, Broner is going to slip it into 2nd gear and throttle his backside. Broner still won’t need to hit the 3rd or 4th gears, because Escobedo has an inflated ranking in my opinion and will be overmatched against Broner.

It’ll be too easy the way that Broner whips him. When you got a guy that is basically a punching bag, you’re not going to be able to step it into the higher gears because he’ll get taken too fast that way. Broner is probably going to toy with Escobedo the way that a cat does with a mouse before he puts it out of it’s misery. Broner will batter Escobedo enough to keep holding on, and then eventually he’ll obliterate him.

Hopefully after Broner destroys Escobedo, the WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns will agree to fight Broner, because I’d love to see what Broner could do to Burns. It doesn’t matter which weight the fight takes place at, Burns would be in trouble. The talent differences between the two fighters would be too huge for Burns to compare. We’re talking a million miles of distance between them. Burns might as well be out there in Pluto range compared to Broner.
