Chisora told Ifilmlondon “This guy [Vitali] is going to get knocked out. I’m knocking this guy out in round eight. Four corners of the world is supporting me.”

That’s weird because I never saw Chisora as being someone that is well known among boxing fans even in his own country. I suppose there are hardcore boxing fans from all around the word who religiously follow the sport and know who Chisora is, but I kind of doubt that he’s a getting a whole lot of support in the Klitschko fight. I guess it’s one of those subjective things where he could get a few letters or e-mails some faraway place and he can use that as evidence that he has support from “four corners” of the world but I’d be frankly surprised if it was more than a tiny handful of people.

Chisora has recently bleached his beard an orange color and he looks to have lost a lot of weight judging by how thin his face is looking now. I can see Chisora coming into the Vitali fight weighing below 240, not that it will matter. In watching Chisora hit the mitts of his trainer and work out on the heavy bag, Chisora looks weak and slow. I mean, Chisora has never been fast to begin with but he sometimes could throw with power when he loads up and puts everything he’s got into a punch, but he just looks weak now. Maybe he’s been stripping off a lot of blubber in an effort to look good but I think it’s hurting him in the power department.

In appearance, Chisora is looking a lot like former WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster but he doesn’t have Brewster’s powerful left hook working for him from what I can see and he doesn’t have Brewster’s hard short right hand that he used to throw. I think Chisora is going to get torn apart by Vitali on February 18th.
