A little over a week before Pacquiao-Clottey and everyone is talking about Mayweather-Mosley
By Dave Lahr: In case people haven’t noticed, there’s a little over a week to go before the Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey fight and everyone is talking about the May 1st fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley. If it wasn’t so sad it would be hilarious. The Mayweather fight won’t be taking place for months, yet it’s all that’s being talked about. I know there’s a lesson in here somewhere. The Mayweather vs. Mosley fight is a true super fight, whereas the Pacquiao-Clottey is just a mismatch any way you look it.
Mayweather is doing a bang up job of promoting his fight with Mosley in the past week. In contrast, I don’t hear a peep from Clottey or Pacquiao. When I do read stuff from them, they’re saying nothing but a bunch of nice stuff, just praising one another back and forth. Clottey can’t stop saying how happy he is to have been selected for the fight.
It’s like Clottey has been brought in to lose. He has no trainer, and I don’t see anyone busting their backsides to make sure he has one. It’s a fight where Top Rank, who promotes both Pacquiao and Clottey, will do well and make a killing in this fight. But it’s not going to compare to the numbers that the Mayweather vs. Mosley fight puts in. I just don’t see much interest in this fight. Even if Arum put a ton of money into advertising for this fight, people probably still won’t care.
Unless you’re a big Pacquiao fan, there’s little reason to watch the Pacquiao-Clottey fight. You know who’s going to win. Clottey is a slow fighter, doesn’t throw many punches, fades early, has no right hand, doesn’t move his head and covers up most of the time. It’s going to be like watching an execution rather than a boxing match.

david,
u might be talking all about mayweater at you office, but your wrong again david,
ryan dunn,
challenge these writers to be more balanced, they keep getting bad remarks, but just comback with a different headline,
Alot of Pacquiao fans’s look at Mayweather as the enemy because of the comments he’s made about Pacquiao, but take a good look at Bob Arum, just for a quick second. Try to understand why Mayweather jr, and Dela Hoya both left. Now look at the 25% of Pacquiao’s purse that he’s taking and you have found your answer. Bob Arum is the real person we should hear Pacquiao fan’s complaining about not some guy name Mayweather who either way can’t take Manny’s money no matter what he says.
The ONLY way that I see Clottey winning this fight is by stopping Pac….there is absolutey NO other way. Can he do it?………thats the million dollar question, but Pac took some monster shots in his fights with JMM and Morales…….and he took his share of good shots in the Cotto fight, but he never went down once, so Pac has shown that he has a solid chin………so I dont know.
I got to agree with Dom on his observations regarding Pac being outboxed by Cotto in the first couple of rounds of their fight. We know that Pac said he wanted to taste Cotto’s power early on……but that is when he basically covered up and let Cotto bang away at him. But when Pac was actually throwing punches and Cotto actually boxed him, then yes, he did have the advantage over Pac. Cotto’s mistake was abandoning that plan and resorting to trying to slug it out with Pac, whose power should NEVER be taken lightly. Pac has very good hand speed, very good power for his size, and throws a barrage of punches to overwhelm his opponents…..those are his strengths, and he uses them very well, but a good boxer does seem to be able to nuetralize those factors and give manny fits, such as both of his fights with JMM, and as faded as Morales was, he still had enough in the tank in their first encounter to beat Manny by using his superior boxing skills. I do not know why Cotto went from fighting his kind of fight to Pac’s……..but I think that he did not want the “little guy” to intimidate him by not showing that he could engage in a slugfest………..BIG MISTAKE. But, all in all ,Manny took it to Cotto, and KO’ed him…….which was a very great accomplishment for him. I dont see Clottey engaging in a slugfest with Manny, but I also dont see Clottey winning any type of decision with Manny either……he just throws too many punches, and Clottey throws too few.
The Mayweather, and Mosley fight will do very well as far as ppvs. Right now it’s being promoted very well. The fight should be competative, because Mayweathers only fight in the last 2 years has been against a blown up light weight, so you can’t use that fight as a guage to see if he is back to his old sharpness so this should be very good.
No. #1 Pacman is TOP GUN !! Only Mosley is No. #2
There will only be a FIGHT OF THE CENTURY if Mosley fights
Pacman….forget about Floyd…hes nothing no more…he can
dissappear into oblivion if anybody cares….Floyd talks too
much…hes not ALI !! There’s ONlY ONE ALI !!
I think the Pacman vs Clotty will be watch more than the Floyd vs Mosley fight. It has a World Wide Appeal while the Floyd-Mosley fight I believe youll agree its only local….it could had a world wide appeal had it not for Floyd trash talking and big disrespecting mouth…but thats too late…he probably thinks hes Ali, (lol) !!
Pacman vs Clottey has WorldWide Appeal and Texas is going show em ! You can beat on that !!
I think what’s important is the “FIGHT WHICH PEOPLE WILL TALKED ABOUT AFTER IT HAPPENED”. People’s memory are short and no one will ever remember a boring fight.
Yes Dave, we heard you allready
ha,2 days and this article only get 76 post ,what is their to talk about, and they both share the same fan base.
here you go again davey boy/williams/esteban(u keep changin ur penname i cant keep up)if you re smart ass sure that its gonna be a one sided beatin from pacquiao then bet your house and the kitchen sink on it.
but wait, i remember youre a SISSY so cant expect you to do any such things that requires cojones. keep on hatin beeech
Alot of these post have sound points, one that I would like answered by the Mayweather fans is this;
Between Pacquaio, Cotto, Mosely, Clottey, Magarito, P. Williams, and Berto we have all of these top Welterweights and beyond that have stepped in the ring to face each other; where is Mayweather in this picture? Why is Mayweather the only big name absent from this list of top fighters that are risking their records and images putting it on the line? Everyone else on the list with the exception of Berto has fought against the top competitors in the division. Mayweather, today ; still can’t be associated with any of these fighters.
@Tbone
You are absolutely right. But if Manny stands a chance against Floyd I think he HAS to find a way inside, and will need to put Floyd on the canvas. I just don’t think Manny can out point Floyd.
I WILL say though. Nothing in that fight would surprise me. From Floyd by KO to Manny by KO and anything in between. GAWD I hope they fight. Hahahh.
…Ryan
freddie roach was quotes as saying that manny would have to “fight the perfect fight, round for round” and that is hard to do against a guy like mayweather. The reason de la hoya did some what well (not enough to get one judge…mayweather should have won in a UD) was because he has/had a GREAT jab. this is something mosley and pacquiao DONT have. i think pac could put pressure on mayweather, but i believe over time, mayweather would set pacman up for a left check hook. mayweather is too smart, and too much of a pure boxer. i think the fight would go a lot like chavez jr vs whitaker.
Hahahah. I meant the FLOYD and MANNY fight, obviously, though I bet there’s been one or two FLOYD vs. MAYWEATHER fights along the way.
…ryan
@DOM
I honestly don’t know. I think there is a BIG question about the Floyd and Mayweather fight, because I don’t think Floyd’s ever been tested by someone of Manny’s speed and strength combo.
Manny absolutely CAN take Floyd out of his game, and he will. The question is how will Floyd adjust? If he can’t establish the jab against Manny, it’s a lost fight for Floyd. If he can make Manny look foolish, and control the ring, he wins.
As far as Roach. Why would he say Mayweather is an easy fight, and Mosley is a tough fight? I think Freddie sees a gameplan to beat Floyd, and he has a chip on his shoulder ever since Oscar lost when he was training him. Freddie thinks he has a gameplan to beat Floyd, and I believe he thinks Manny can do it.
I hope the fight happens, so we can see who’s the best. It’s not often you get two premiere fighters in the same weight class fighting in top form for the P4P crown. We are fortunate to have it.
…ryan
this I don’t get, plenty of people feels manny pacquiao won over fighters who are suppose to be washed up, got out from a loss, dehydrated, and so fort. Yet, he is stlll being accused by mayweathers specially, that he won with the aid of some sort of performace enhancing drugs. If pacquiao is not all that and the mayweathers says he is more than that and then some, due to something, where does manny can stand? He can’t fight clottey coz it’s a miss match and mayweather won’t fight him coz of fear. Who should manny be fighting?
@ DOM—-YOU ARE ON POINT WITH THAT PAC-COTTO-PBF BOXING,PBF WILL BOX circles AROUND PAC ALL NITE JABBING PAC HEAD OFF..
YOU REALLY THINK THAT CLOTTEY PAC will BE THE BETTER FIGHT?? THAT PAC FIGHT IS IRRELEVANT, WE ALL KNOW PAC GONNA TKO CLOTTEY ABOUT THE 10th ROUND,WE ALL DYING TO SEE THAT PAC-PBF FIGHT,SO KNOWING PAC WILL WIN HIS FIGHT IM SAYING THE PBF-SHANE FIGHT IS THE FIGHT TO WATCH,ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT FIGHT,AND ITS GONNA SHOW IN THE PPV NUMBERS,,ITS COMMON SENSE ON WHICH FIGHT is more important CUZ IF YOU WANNA SEE THAT PAC-PBF,WE NEED TO SEE PBF GET PASS SHANE,
@ryan dunno nuthing————-give me pac ppv numbers, are they better than pbf? bob arum is a jerk, pac is good no doubt and he’ll lose to pbf and shane, pac should fight them both, they’re both boxers wit foot work, speed and skillz,
Mayweather could possibly get close to 2 million ppvs in this fight.
Mayweather draws a lot of attention because he always makes a ton of noise outside the ring, whereas Pac is a soft-spoken humble champion. And Pac is fighting Clottey for heaven’s sakes, who doesn’t have a strong following on his own!
That’s the reason why all the fuss is where it is. Has nothing to do with who’s the better one.
I pity this writer,he cant come up with something that would elevate him a little bit regarding his writing capability!
The only person who talk about Floyd and Mosley is you Dave”little brat Girl” Lahr. The rest of the boxing world are all focused on Manny! You better go out of your room to find it out yourself!
by beatin the # 3 p4p fighter he wont get the p4p status. hel reclaim his p4p status. manny will never b the best in this era until he beats floyd.same goes wit floyd.
thats where ur wrong ops
u seebasketball is a team sport
boxing has just one athalete
i really dont think may will get the p4p crown if he beats mosley! cotto beat mosley who was bea by pac! to be the man u have to beat the man. and all though mnny did not beat floyd he has earned that tittle over him. just like so many earn tittles of p4p. i think floyd will have to beat shane up to even be considered mannys equal and prove he is the same fighter he used to be. beat champions and fight more than just once a year
just for the record dogg, hagler has never even been closed to being knocked out.
manny can smoke crack and pass this test. because in texas they dont test for nuthin. nuthin.
ppl who call floyds style runing have no idea what boxing is all about. wtf do u mean runnin gthe ring is 20 by 20 ain much real estate to run around. u kno muhamed ali used to do the same. and his sting like a buttergly and float like a bee saying says it all. dont blame the guy cause he wants a good life after boxing and not sound retarded. who ever says floyd jus runs is a idiot. and floyd would box mannys ears off. trust me jus look at wat boxers do to manny. when cotto was jabbing him manny shead kept flying back. now i dont see ne one arguin and telling me that cottos jab is better then floyds. itl b straight up leaping left hooks and straight rights right in manny sthroat
Pac knows he has no prayer against Floyd. Floyd played his cards right. He knew Roach will ask for him to drain a dozen pounds, so he (PBF) made the first demand: Take a drug test. Floyd just wanted to show Team Pac, he doesn’t need them, he cannot be pushed around.
Who did Pac beat anyway? ODLH? He lost 3 of his last 6 and struggled against B-Level fighters. He is old and dehydrated. War-weary Morales II and III? Old Barrera? Damaged Cotto? Overrated and shot Hatton? PAper champ David Diaz? LOL. Floyd will toy with Pac the whole night.
this fight was made to hastily, it just does not make any sense to reward a fighter with a bout against the p4p king after a loss. it also does not make any sense to fight someone how has just lost to the person you just beat in impressive fashion. pacman has said he doesnt have many fights left, just seems like a shame he has taken this fight
Pacquiao has already ducked Mosley and Mayweather. Mosley is “too good” for Manny. So if Floyd wins easily, Manny might fight Mosley. No way does Manny fight the winner. Superstitions don’t appear out of nowhere after 31 years and then disappear in a month. Yet that’s what Pacquiao and his team are trying to say. Now, Pacquiao will only fight where he doesn’t have to take any tests for PEDs. The general public believes Manny is scared of Mayweather and/or using PEDs. Its too bad a fighter as good as Pacquiao refuses to fight the best. Some fighters just don’t have the heart it takes to get in the ring with the best. Manny has all the speed and power but no heart. I actually feel sorry for him, everyone wants him to fight Mayweather and he knows he could get seriously hurt if he did. Oh, well, Clottey is a B level fighter and with no PED tests, Manny should look great and the hype train keeps on rolling. Just don’t expect him to fight the best at ANY weight class.
Looking at the odds in Vegas I’m taking Clottey. I’m surprised it’s that wide of a margin honestly. This has upset written all over it, neither Pacquaio or his own training staff are talking about Clottey, they kept sucking on Mayweather’s name. Clottey who is the unknown guy to most casual fans is one tough s.o.b. Dont’ be surprised if this fight takes a turn in Clottey’s favor due to an accidental headbutt. South paw vs. conventianal fighter it happens all the time.
i dont understand why these writhers are talking bout the one mismatch pacman is in and the one real fight mayweather is in,what about when pacman was fighting the mighty cotto and mayweather was fighting a lightweight, like he always dose avoide every one in his own weight class like da coward he is the only reason he is fighting mosely is cause he has no other choise i mean what is going to do fight a flyweight py i hope mosely pulls off an upset an tears his head off, then we can see a real war with pacman n mosely
@Dom
So by your estimation, Manny is simply a puncher, with no other skills? No hand speed? No off-balance, odd-angled power shots? What about head movement? Awful foot work? Terrible with the feint?
You said Manny looked absolutely lost vs. Cotto? Are you serious, Dom? He admitted to be testing Cotto’s power in the first few rounds, but for a guy who looked “absolutely lost,” he sure made the right adjustments and came back to dominate the tough Puerto Rican with embarrassing ease (at times, as embarrassing as the ODLH fight).
I haven’t seen anyone else literally EMBARRASS top contenders the way Manny has, including against fighters who Floyd fought within a year or two of Manny.
Even a weight-drained ODLH is supposed to dominate Manny in the ring, based on height, reach, and boxing experience alone. That’s what many critics thought before the fight. Even a Hatton with one loss is supposed to be stronger than Manny when fighting at his natural weight. That’s what the critics said. Even a Cotto who went to war with Margarito and Clottey is tough enough to hold his own with Manny. That’s what many critics told us.
Have you seen anyone embarrass opponents in that fashion in recent years? Valero might have what it takes. Haye shows flashes of promise. Floyd outclasses his opponents every single time, no doubt. He takes them to school and saps their spirit, but he doesn’t outright EMBARRASS them. He doesn’t send them to the canvas or make them quit on their bench from torrents of ferocious punishment.
Floyd is, without a doubt, a great boxer for different reasons, but I still don’t get why guys like you actually HOPE for Manny’s demise in the ring. I watch Floyd fights in awe of what he can do, and how effortless he makes it look. And whenever there’s an undefeated athlete (or team for that matter) in a competition, the question lingers in the background, “Can ANYONE beat him?” And so you watch with interest to see if there is ANY recipe in the ring that can dethrone Money May. And you shake your head in wonder when you realize, “Shoot, there may NOT be any such recipe.”
But Manny’s an exciting fighter in his own right, a guy who defies the odds as the smaller man to dominate bigger guys in convincing fashion. His fights are NEVER boring, not once, not ever. He cannot produce a boring fight, man. He has flaws, chinks in his armor. He takes risks, puts his chin out there. He can get tagged. He can get KO’d. And yet he keeps us at the edge of his seat with his reckless abandon and God-given talent. He’s everything we wanted in Prince Naseem times ten… awkward and awesome all at once.
I’m not a nut-hugger, by the way. But honestly, Manny has to be one of the most exciting athletes to watch perform. Like watching Michael Phelps in swimming, Shaun White in snowboarding, Kobe Bryant in basketball, Brett Favre in football. These are exciting athletes who put on a good show for the fans every single time they compete.
Without getting into details about who was washed up, who was a bum, or whatever, the boxing experts and fans alike all agree that Manny’s achievements are nothing less than impressive if not legendary.
Why do you choose to side against him? I am sincerely curious. As a boxing fan, I find it nearly impossible not to root for him in the ring. Is it because as long as you are a Mayweather fan, you can’t support Pacquiao? Does it have something to do with him being an outsider from the Philippines? Is it something about him not fighting Black American fighters? What is it, I really want to know.
Because I think there’s room to be a fan of BOTH fighters. Hell, I am a fan of Mosley, Pacquiao, Mayweather AND Clottey. They are all great fighters for different reasons. When Mayweather isn’t trash-talking in the public eye, even HE has been quoted as saying he has respect for Manny. Why not guys like you?
Hating on Manny is hogwash, I say! We are blessed to have both of these fighters in our time, and both of them fighting in the same year no less! And a “puncher’s chance”
that Floyd and Manny might finally meet up and FIGHT EACHOTHER this Fall.
Come on now, Dom. What’s not to love?
…ryan
Mayweather Mosley surely has to be a bigger fight than Pacman Clottey right?
I dont think anybodys forgotten about the other one so who really cares?
and after mannys not p4p ne more what r u guys gon say then?. that hes the fighter of the decade?. i realy dont care what writer vote or choose. u kno barry bonds was a 7 time mvp. voted by writers. and roger clemens was im not sure but mayb a 5 time cy young winner voted by writers. and they sure ain makin it to the hall of fame. writers jus write shyt to hype ppl up.
nobody and i mean nobody can adjust to a fighters style the way mayweather does. hes jus tecnicaly sounds.
If you think it’s a mismatch, then Don’t watch / buy it on PPV. Who’s forcing you to watch it? Nobody! As for it being a mismatch, you have to remeber that this Clottey guy has never been knocked out, that’s impressive enough for me. If i recall correctly, even great fighters have suffered ko loses, (Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Tyson, etc..) Just something to think about.
ay ur boys p4p king status is about to go away. some other person is goin to take over the crown come may 2. u guys all know this.
You all can hate everyday and all day long, Floyd will get you to buy his ppv, cause good or bad fame = fame!!! and obviously bad fame pays more!! look at Arum, King, Presidents and Bill Gates. all millionaires!!!
*** Clottey has been shown zero respect by stupid people who dont know a world class welterweight when they see one.
Whoever wins its still going to be an exciting fight, and the stupid moron complainers who dont have a clue, are going to look even more stupid on march 14th after we have all seen a really good fight
daveweather, only you are talking to that fight cause youre mayweathere’s dog.
it depends on what yall call a “good” fight…if you wanna see abou 3 or 4 rounds of toe to toe “action” but overmatched…..or do you wanna see a more competitive fight against two of the best !!
@Dom i shall not deny that floyd has amazing skills in not getting hit with flush shots, i have seen all of he’s fights and he has been hit of course from the body to the head but flush shots no, so admittedly he is good in this style of moving, ducking, and running, but to what extent can we measure he’s durability if he gets hit with FLUSH shots to the head and body? how could we gauge this? well we could not because floyd haas not fought real welter weights since 2006, so in essence mosley is he’s first test in the welterweight division since 2006, we do not know how floyd will react if mosley tags him, floyd is a volume puncher and not a dynamic one two your out type of hitter.
so what we could expect from the upcoming fight between mosley and mayweather is that one will definitely be running pot shotting and the other pursuing and hugging thru the corners.
not my type of fighting really but a fight nonetheless.
what do we expect about the pacman vs clottey fight? we expect two guys in the middle of the ring releasing massive bombs because that’s how this two guys fight. clottey is one durable guy never been wobbled never been ko’ed. he can take a punch, this fight is more my type of fighting, it would really be interesting too see floyd fight manny no doubt about that but i can honestly say that if floyd wins againts mosley he will never fight pacman, fighting pacman is too much of a risk for floyd and we can all agree that since the beginning floyd has and will always will be not taking risks to protect he’s 40-0 record.
For once people are more excited about a Mayweather fight then a Pacquiao one… you now why? Because of Shane Mosley.
Pacquiao fights are exciting because of Pacquiao.
This is what you can expect for this two fights. Pac/clottey, they talk nice to each other outside the ring but it is going to be war inside the ring. mayweather/mosley, they talk bad to each other outside the ring but they run and hug inside the ring. floyd will run and mosley will hug. thats there style. I prepare to watch the first one on live PPV and on replay the second one after a week.
Mosley vs Mayweather surely is an exiting fight.
People will be amazed to see one fight running and one fighter chasing the other. If he gets caught he’s done for. If he’s not he will continue to run.
Seems to me like Tom&Jerry.
Im just glad we have a great rest of the year in fights…Pac and Clottey’s fight is nearly sold out at the Dallas stadium, thats going to be huge numbers as far as the gate is concerned. Floyd and Shane are going to be probably beat out the competition on PPV numbers. Its good to know boxing is back!!! As far as whos going to win? Pac of course and they’re going to probably have Shane and Floyd rematch. Especially since there is a rematch clause. I don’t see Floyd truely dominating Shane and I see Shane doing a lot of chasing, REMATCH!!
Maybe , just maybe… if you pull out a gun, America may just support Mayweather instead of a little puny Filipino fighter.
@ Dirk Nowitzki
i thought you will give us a report of Pacquiao using drugs. what a disappointment. oh well, sweet dreams to you.
Go Mavericks!!!!!!! Goodnight Pactards/fools/Steroidsupporters/MayweatherHaters!
Hey if you support Pacroid you might as well vote Mark Mcgwire into the Hall of Fame alongside Barry Bonds
The Lies continue to flow fro Team Pacquiao!
Manny Pacquiao and Trainer Freddie Roach continue to claim they have no idea what steroids are. Well, here is proof Freddie Roach is a Liar:
Three-time champion James Toney tested positive for steroids and could face a one-year suspension from boxing.
Armando Garcia, the California State Athletic Commission’s executive officer, said Toney and Danny Batchelder, his opponent in a heavyweight bout May 24 in San Jose, tested positive for two types of steroids. They were suspended indefinitely.
“They have a right to appeal,” Garcia said Wednesday. “My recommendation is suspension until the end of the licensing year and a $2,500 fine for both. We will give them the 30 days to appeal. If they don’t, that’s what the suspension will be.”
Toney tested positive for boldenone and stanazolol, and Batchelder tested positive for stanazolol and oxandolone, Garcia said. If they don’t appeal, the boxers would be suspended one year from the date of their fight.
“We have a detailed anti-doping program in place in this state,” Armando Garcia, the commission’s executive director, told The Los Angeles Times for Wednesday’s editions. “If they come here doping, they’re going to get caught.”
Toney won a split decision over Batchelder, an outcome that won’t be changed, Garcia said. Toney has a 70-6-3 record with 43 knockouts and Batchelder is 25-5-1 with 12 knockouts.
Toney’s promoter, Dan Goossen, and trainer, Freddie Roach, were not very happy with the fighter’s performance and were upset with his conditioning despite the victory.
The 38-year-old Toney is a former IBF middleweight, super-middleweight and cruiserweight champion. He tested positive for nandrolone two years ago, and it cost him a victory over WBC heavyweight champion John Ruiz. That bout was ruled a no-contest.
Toney was also caught once before and this what Roach had to say “The Ruiz fight, James was coming off an injury and we didn’t have enough time for it to completely heal. He wasn’t at one-hundred percent. The steroids didn’t seem to affect him at all, we didn’t even know it was still in his system for that fight. James was just himself in the Ruiz fight. His boxing ability won him the fight”
And by the way, How come Mayweather cannot give a straight answer when reporters ask him about Pacquiao and keep repeating the same answer over and over seems like it is pre-meditated, or he is just scared to fight Pacquiao.!
To the writer!
Did you ever look into your collection of Mayweather fights particularly against Baldomir….People are booing on that fight, and I never seen a fight like that where people are booing.
People are talking about this fight compare to Pacquiao fight because of doubt. As Mayweather’s history fights shows that he never went to the edge, he always make people snoozy. That’s why people are in doubt talking about this fight.
On the other hand, Pacquiao fights had been always exciting, people are always on the edge of their seats. That’s why they are not talking about this fight because they know what they gonna expect. – pure entertainment.!
This article was written by a child…
“If it wasn’t so sad it would be hilarious”
… my thoughts exactly.
aww. i thought that too, but then you post a Pacquiao-Clottey article. don’t worry, the March 13 fight will be an awesome thing to discuss for weeks once it is over.
You guys dont give credit to Clottey at all and hes one of the Top Ten Welter Weights !! Hes only got 3 losses out of 35 wins!!
I bet even Clottey can whoop Floyds aszzzzzz!!!!
Dude, man, grew up !! My guess is that you cant sleep at night because Pacman is still getting all the attention and hes a FORIEGNER !!!
Its senseless to argue with someone whos obviously have deep jealousy and hatred for someone who out shine, out number, out class and who out smart their choosen idol !! wake up man, its now the 21rst Century !!
@Ryan dunn totally agree with you. Are you in boxing circle too? You know lots about boxing.
The only attention that Mosley and Floyd is their staged publicity stunt. They should have taken acting classes. That was funny!
Floyd’s pre-fight antics are more entertaining than the fight itself so you’re just stating the obvious. I’d rather pay $$$ watching some of his interviews which is much more entertaining than the actual bout itself.
Also, this isn’t the megafight, and Pacquiao knows this. So does Top Rank. This is an interim fight to the winner of Mayweather Mosley.
If Mosley and Berto ended up happening, who do you reckon Floyd would have fought? Who was there for him to stage a megafight?
Just wait until the Fall hits, and the REAL megafight happens. The fact is this: Manny is the P4P king right now, and he gets to wait and see who wins out of Shane and Floyd and negotiate with the winner.
…ryan
dave is talking nonesense, just like man perez, liam esteban they are all jealous of pacman…. to think that they are building a guy in the name floyd money mayweather a fighter all boxing fans thought to be a selfish, cheater… STFU!!!! dave
hey dave…
we dont have a big mouth like you and your KFC company…
Your bed buddy Estebon “wrote” a similar article. They’re in the midst of press conferences right now, timing no doubt to take some of the air out of the Pacquiao/Clottey fight. The conferences just happened, of course people are going to talk about it. Nontheless, Floyd can’t go anywhere w/out hearing Pacquiao’s name, and visa versa. Less than two weeks is a great fight, this fight isn’t till May. We’ll see what everyone’s talking about in two weeks time.
