By Chris Williams: Influencer Adin Ross is picking Ryan Garcia to beat Gervonta Davis on Saturday in one of the rare examples of someone picking Kingry to do the job on Tank in their mega-fight on Showtime PPV at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Adin sees the hand speed of Ryan (23-0, 19 KOs) as being too much for Tank Davis (28-0, 26 KOs), and he’s planning on betting big money to back up his convictions in this fight.
The 24-year-old Ryan is taking a big step up in class in facing the former three-division world champion Gervonta in this match-up.
On paper, this fight is a classic mismatch because not only has the Golden Boy-promoted Ryan never won a world title, but he’s NEVER even fought for a belt. When Ryan had the opportunity to face Devin Haney for his WBC lightweight title, he turned it down.

Adin: “I’m saying good luck. I still want this to be a good fight, but I got Ryan in this one.”

Adin: “Ryan hit me before. He smacked me in the chest, and it really, really hurt me. I think he’s going to do it, bro. I think you guys are hella good fighters, but I think regardless after this situation ends after this fight ends, I think you guys should become friends afterwards.”
Kai: “You betting on Ryan?”
Adin: “Yeah, if I put a hundred thousand, I’ll make three hundred thousand dollars. Kai, you and I should make a bet. I’ll bet you ten thousand dollars Ryan takes it. I got Ryan and you got Tank.”
Kai: “If I wasn’t confident, I wouldn’t be here right now.”
Adin: “He’s [Ryan] not going to lose, bro. It’s crazy. Tank, you’re a hell of a fighter, but Ryan is quick.”
Gervonta Davis: “That’s it?”
Adin: “What do you mean? He’s got quick hands.”
Gervonta: “You know that you’ve got to have more than that in boxing.”
Adin: “I never boxed before. I don’t think you’re going to knock him out, man. Mr. Tank, you do hit pretty hard. You had that Rolly guy sleeping. I just watched that today, but Ryan is quick, Bro. You could be boxing, but all this is one punch.”
Gervonta: “Tell him to bet his purse.”
Adin: “How much are you making? My bad. By the way, I will be ringside. Kai, you coming ringside, too?”
Kai: “Tank is going to KO Ryan.”
