Szpilka: I’m ready to put on a show for my fans

wilder555By Tim Fletcher: Artur Szpilka (20-1, 15 KOs) is ready to put on a big show for his loyal fans next month when he challenges WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) on January 16th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Szpilka was selected by Wilder’s management to face the hard hitting champion in his third title defense.

Szpilka expects to have many of his fans to come see him fight Wilder and watch him pull off a big upset. It would be an upset if the 26-year-old Szpilka wins, because he’s being brought in as the opponent. It’s supposed to be a safe pick by Wilder’s team.

If Szpilka can pull off an upset in this fight, it would be a major blow to the career of Wilder, and it would ruin his big hopes for a title unification fight against the winner of the Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko fight in 2016.
