By Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s) is the favorite to beat undefeated challenger Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12 KO’s) in their June 9th match-up at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao’s speed and power advantage is seen as the tipping point in this fight. However, Pacquiao was also a favorite in his last fight against 38-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez last November and also had the speed and power advantage in that fight as well. We all know what happened there.
Pacquiao vs. Bradley
Will Pacquiao be able to fully concentrate on Bradley with his tax problems weighing down on him?
By Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is reportedly dealing with some big time tax problems in his native Philippines. Perhaps this will be little more than a tiny blip on the screen for the politician/boxer, but with potential jail time if he’s found guilty, it’s got to be something that Pacquaio is concerned with as he gets ready for his June 9th fight against the unbeaten Timothy Bradley.
Bradley wary of Pacquiao’s left hand
By John F. McKenna (McJack): Undefeated World Boxing Organization (WBO) light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12 KO’s) remains confident that he can defeat Filipino icon WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s), although he is wary of the power Manny has in his left hand. Bradley and Pacquiao will clash on June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Bradley: The only thing Pacquiao has going for him is his left hand
By Chris Williams: Title challenger Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12 KO’s) isn’t too concerned with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao’s right hand in their June 9th fight at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. Bradley, 28, is only worried about dealing with Pacquiao’s left but even that weapon, Bradley isn’t too worried about because he feels that Pacquiao won’t be able to connect with it.
Manny needs Floyd: Pacquiao out of options after Bradley, but Mayweather still has 154 and 160 Divisions to test
By Frank Gaskins: Undefeated pound for pound king and World Boxing Council (WBC) welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26 KO’s) will be taking on WBA light middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (37-2, 30 KO’s) on May 5th, though many critics and boxing fans alike believe this fight will be just another one or Mayweather’s masterful and brilliant performances, Cotto will actually be somewhat of a test for Mayweather in many ways.
Pacquiao to begin training for Bradley fight later this month or first week of April
By Chris Williams: 33-year-old WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s) will begin training later this or possibly in early April for his June 9th fight against 28-year-old Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12 KO’s) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be the third title defense for Pacquiao and he’s obviously hoping he’ll do better than he did in his last fight against 38-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez last November.
Bradley: I’m ready to face the best fighter in the world [Pacquiao]
By Chris Williams: WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12 KO’s) has been really pouring on the compliments of his June 9th opponent WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s) ever since the 28-year-old Bradley landed the fight with Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mayweather: If Pacquiao loses, it’s all over for Bob Arum
By Chris Williams: Floyd Mayweather Jr. sees Top Rank promoter Bob Arum as not really wanting to risk putting his cash cow WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao in with Mayweather Jr. in what be a very, very risky fight for the 33-year-old Pacquiao. Mayweather believes that Arum has lost his big named fighters Miguel Cotto and Mayweather and doesn’t want to risk having Pacquaio get beat, hence the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight hasn’t been made.
There’s no blueprint in beating Timothy Bradley
By Chris Williams: Say what you will about Timothy Bradley not having the same power or hand speed as Manny Pacquiao; there’s still no one that has solved how to beat Bradley. No one has created a blueprint in how to beat him yet, and I can’t see Pacquiao knowing what to do other what he always does by trying to throw more punches than his opponent.
